Abstract
Kompleks mangan(II) dengan ligan 2-(4-klorofenil)-4,5-difenil-1H-imidazol telah berhasil disintesis dengan rendemen sebesar 76,12%. Rumus molekul senyawa kompleks yang terbentuk adalah [Mn(2-(4-klorofenil)-4,5-difenil-1H-imidazol)2(H2O)2].2H2O. Rumus molekul ini didapatkan dari hasil analisis mikro unsur CHN yang menunjukkan kadar C, H, dan N pada senyawa kompleks secara berturut-turut sebesar 64,03%; 4,67%; dan 7,07%. Dari hasil analisis dengan FTIR menunjukkan adanya spektra khas vibrasi Mn-O pada bilangan gelombang 501,51 cm-1 dan vibrasi Mn-N pada bilangan gelombang 443,64 cm-1. Rumus molekul ini juga diperkuat dengan hasil analisis TGA yang membuktikan bahwa terdapat air kristal dan air ligan pada kompleks. Uji toksisitas senyawa kompleks dengan metode BSLT didapatkan nilai LC50 sebesar 354,81 ppm. ========== Complex manganese(II) with 2-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole ligand had been synthesized with yield of 76,12%. Molecule formula from complex compound was [Mn(2-(4-chlorophenyl)
-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole)2(H2O)2].2H2O. This
molecule formula was known from CHN elemental analyzer that showed the composition of C, H, and N in complex compound was 64,03%; 4,67%; and 7,07%. From FTIR characterization shown that there was a distinctive vibrational spectra of Mn-O at 501,51 cm-1 and vibration of Mn-N at 443,64 cm-1. This molecule formula was also known from TGA that indicated there was presence of crystal water and water ligand in complex. Toxicity test of this complex compound by BSLT methods was obtained the LC 50 value of 354,81 ppm.
