Abstract
Indonesia adalah negara dengan iklim tropis (panas) yang mempunyai suhu rata-rata 25-32 derajat celcius, sehingga kebanyakan masyarakat Indonesia akan memilih minuman segar untuk melepaskan dahaga disaat cuaca sedang panas, salah satu contoh minuman segar yang dipilih adalah Es Krim (Soft Ice Cream). Soft Ice Cream hanya dapat diproduksi menggunakan Mesin Es Krim khusus. Selama ini, di dunia industri Mesin Es Krim ini hanya diproduksi dengan ukuran sangat besar, 18-25 liter dan harga Mesin Es Krim tersebut pun juga tentu lebih mahal berkisar antara 15 juta-21juta.
Oleh karena itu untuk dapat membuat Mesin Es Krim Cup berukuran 2 liter ini maka dibutuhkan beberapa komponen yaitu Refrigeran (bahan pendingin), Kompresor, Kondensor, Evaporator, Pipa Kapiler, dan Thermostat Digital yang berfungsi untuk mengontrol temperatur yang terdiri dari sensor temperatur DS18B20, Arduino Uno, Relay Elektromagnetik, LCD 16x2 untuk menampilkan temperatur dan beberapa pengetahuan tentang siklus pendinginan dan proses pembuatan mesin pendingin.
Dari hasil pengujian Mesin Es Krim ini, dapat diketahui bahwa besar kesalahan rata-rata pengukuran suhu 0,430C. Waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk memperoleh bentuk Es Krim yang diinginkan (Soft Ice Cream) dibutuhkan waktu sekitar ± 3 jam dengan suhu sekitar ± 2,940C.

Soft Ice Cream can only be produced using a special Ice Cream Machine. So far, in the world of industry, Ice Cream Machine is only produced with a very large size, 18-25 liters and the price of Ice Cream Machine is also more expensive too is ranged between 15 million-21 million.
Therefore, to making Ice Cream Machine Cup 2 liters, it is required some components of Refrigerant (Coolant), Compressor, Condenser, Evaporator, Capillary Pipe, and Digital Thermostat that serves to control the temperature consisting of Temperature Sensor DS18B20, Arduino Uno, Electromagnetic Relay, LCD 16x2 for temperature display and some knowledge of Refrigeration Cycle and Process of making Cooling Machine.
From the results of testing Ice Cream Machine, it can be seen that the Average Error Measurement of Temperature is 0.430C. The time required to obtain the desired form of Ice Cream (Soft Ice Cream) takes about ± 3 hours with an ambient temperature of ± 2.940C.
