Abstract
Di negara berkembang yang perekonomiannya belum tersebar rata seperti Indonesia, ada beberapa kota yang dijadikan tujuan utama oleh penduduk-penduduk di sekitarnya. Seperti contohnya Surabaya, jumlah penduduk disiang hari hampir dua kali lipat penduduk di malam hari. Hal ini karena adanya masyarakat penglaju yang menetap di Surabaya pada siang hari dan kembali ke tempat asal pada malam hari. Masyarakat penglaju melakukan aktivitas commuting secara rutin. Mereka melakukan aktivitas commuting dengan berbagai motif, salah satu motif yang paling besar adalah bekerja. Aspek penyimpanan menjadi faktor utama saat melakukan aktivitas commuting. Perkembangan produsen storage sepeda motor cukup berkembang di Indonesia. Perancangan ditujukan untuk desain box segment kelas motor bebek, karena mayoritas masyarakat penglaju menggunakan motor bebek. Fitur yang ditawarkan adalah adanya stopcontact untuk mengisi daya batrai hp selama perjalanan dan sistem organize barang bawaan. Dengan adanya desain box untuk segment motor bebek diharapkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat penglaju tanpa harus membeli motor baru. ===================================================================================== Indonesia is one of developing country which is not having same economic level in its each province. One of the busiest city in Indonesia is Surabaya. Surabaya have a high economic developing level with high demand of human sources. Amount of people in the afternoon is higher than amount of people in the evening.
It is because of commuting people having stay in the afternoon and go back home in the evening. Commuting people's routine activity have many purposes, one of
their purpose is working. In their commuting purpose, there is one specific necessary for commuting people, that is motorcycle's storage. Main object of this research is designing motorcycle's storage box in cub motorcycle's segmentation, That is because the majority of commuting people using cub motorcycle for their ride. The Desi
gn offers the addition features, that is electric socket for phone charging and goods or tools storage while commuting people is riding their motorcycle. With the extra storage design for motorcycle, it is aimed to fullfill commuting people's necessary wit
