Abstract

Seiring dalam menghadapi persaingan global dunia industri, kualitas suatu produk menjadi suatu hal terpenting yang perlu diperhatikan karena dengan kualitas dapat diketahui kepuasan konsumen terhadap produk tersebut. PT. Barata Indonesia (Persero) merupakan salah satu perusahaan milik pemerintah yang bergerak dalam 3 bidang usaha yaitu Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC), Manufaktur Peralatan Industri dan Pengecoran. Komponen yang dianalisis adalah Impeler, dimana komponen ini berfungsi sebagai alat untuk melempar steel shoot dan sering mengalami kerusakan. Jika komponen tersebut rusak maka dapat menyebabkan kerugian atau cost yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu untuk memberikan jaminan kelancaran dalam kegiatan produksi maka perlu dilakukan optimasi penentuan waktu penggantian komponen Impeler pada mesin Hanger Shoot Blast di PT. Barata Indonesia menggunakan metode Power Law Process (PLP). Penelitian ini menghasilkan kebijakan pemeliharaan yang optimal untuk komponen Impeler Mesin HSB Kazo dengan biaya minimum sebesar Rp 93.665,99/jam setelah mengalami kerusakan pertama dan saat mesin sudah beroperasi selama 601 jam. Sedangkan untuk komponen Impeler Mesin HSB By AB berdasarkan biaya yang minimum sebesar Rp 88.881,61/jam, biaya tersebut terdapat setelah mengalami kerusakan pertama dan saat mesin sudah beroperasi selama 634 jam. ================================================================= Along in appear of global competition in the industry, the quality of a product becomes an important thing to reck because with the quality can be known consumer satisfaction with the product. PT. Barata Indonesia (Persero) is one of the government-owned companies engaged in three business sectors namely Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC), Manufacturing Equipment Industry and Foundry. The analyzed component is Impeller, which serves as a tool for throwing steel shoot and often have failure. If the component is failure then it can cause loss or high cost. Therefore, to provide a smooth guarantee in the production activities required the optimization of the timing of preventive replacement of Impeller component that can optimize the cost. So do the optimization of replacement time of Impeller component on Hanger Shoot Blast machine at PT. Barata Indonesia using Power Law Process (PLP) method. This study resulted in an optimal maintenance policy for HSB Kazo Machine of Impeller component with a minimum cost is Rp 93.665,99 per hours after the first failure and when the machine has been operating for 601 hours. As for HSB Machine of Impeler component with a minimum cost is Rp 88.881,61 per hours, the cost is after the first failure and when the machine has been operating for 634 hours.
