Abstract
PT.

PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero), Tbk became one of the infrastructure support companies in Indonesia with a variety of cement products of the highest quality. In this Final Project will be done the quality control of OPC cement production process. OPC cement is formed by sixteen major compounds, namely CaO, MgO, SO3, Al2O3, Fe2O3, SiO2, C3Sc, C2S, C3A, C4AF, FL, Insol, LOI, Expantion, Mesh, and Blaine. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the selection of the main variables forming OPC Cement produces is four main compounds namely CaO, Fe2O3, FL, and, Insol on the partial test using Backward method. In the I-(MR) ̅ control chart monitoring, obtained the conclusion that from four major variables of Cement OPC composer there is no single compound with controlled process. The observations with Generalized Variance control charts show that in Phase I, the process has been statistically controlled with the UCL of 3.954 and the LCL worth 0. Both control limits are reused in Phase II with 44 data where the process is out of control. On the observation with T2 Hotelling control chart, the controlled process in Phase I with UCL is 12.669 and LCL = 0. In Phase II, the process is still not statistically controlled. The detection of cause of out of control variable with PCA method showed that Insol compound was the variable with highest extraction value of 0,800. Insol has the greatest contribution to the out of control process in this study.
