Abstract

=================================================================
ISPA is abbreviation of Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut. This term adaptd from the term in the English language or known Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI). ARI is infectious diseases of the respiratory tract, especially regarding to the structure of the respiratory tract. Overall, the national prevalence of ARI is found to be 29,08% in East Java. ARI is a health problem that should not be ignored because it causes a high rank of deaths in under aged children. The strategic plan of community health clinic in Pasuruan, East Java is a systematically process. Variables confounding that is used is by giving exclusive breastfeeding. On the analysis of the propensity score is known variables that have a significant effect is the status of passive smokers and the status of child’s immunization. Based on these results it is known that the chances of the ARI’s patient with passive smokers is bigger than with no passive smokers’ status. Whereas, the chances of the ARI’s patient with immunization’s status is bigger than ARI’s patient who are not immunized. The estimation’s result of propensity score stratification by using logistic regression it is known that there are 5 variables which the covariate is not balance yet before stratification. After doing stratification, there are covariates which still not balance in strata 2 that is the covariate in passive smokers’ status and immunization’s status. For strata 3, strata 4, and strata 5 still there are covariates not balanced also. Because the variables of birth weight, family economic status and the status of passive smokers there are covariates which not balanced yet, then it is assumed to be balanced after 5 strata.
