Abstract
Target pengangkutan sampah menurut RPJMN 2015-2019
adalah 75%, Kota Surabaya sudah melakukan sistem
pengangkutan yang baik dan menggunakan alat angkut baru
yaitu compactor truck. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan
aktivitas di Kota Surabaya khususnya di wilayah Surabaya
Selatan akan meningkatkan jumlah sampah yang harus
dikelola dan diangkut ke TPA. Perlu diketahui berapa jumlah
alat angkut yang diperlukan dalam kurun waktu sepuluh (10)
tahun yang akan datang dan upaya-upaya optimalisasi yang
harus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan
pengangkutan sampah. Kegiatan pengangkutan sampah juga
menghasilkan emisi Karbondioksida (CO2), sehingga perlu
diketahui berapa besar kontribusi emisi GRK dari
pengangkutan di wilayah Surabaya Selatan. Kegiatan ini
bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasikan pengangkutan sampah
pada kondisi eksisting, sehingga persentase kegiatan
pelayanan pengangkutan sampah dapat di tingkatkan serta
menghitung besarnya emisi Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK) yang
dihasilkan dari kegiatan pengangkutan sampah.
Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah Kota Surabaya Selatan,
meliputi analisis kondisi eksisting sistem pengangkutan
sampah dengan metode mapping di TPS dan di TPA selama
8 hari yang berbeda. Untuk routing akan diamati pada 8
kendaraan pengangkut sampah yang telah ditentukan. Truk
yang akan diamati adalah arm roll truck dan compactor truck
yang melayani TPS di Surabaya Selatan Analisis optimalisasi

dilakukan berdasarkan pada hasil analisis kondisi eksisting
dengan memaksimalkan waktu sisa perhari yang dimiliki tiap
personil kendaraan untuk menambah ritasi serta
mengoptimumkan waktu off route. Emisi GRK dari aspek
lingkungan, akan di analisis untuk mengetahui dampak sistem
pengangkutan ini ke lingkungan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi eksisting untuk
pengangkutan sampah dari wilayah Suabaya Selatan
dilakukan oleh arm roll dan compactor truck. Berdasarkan
pengamatan terhadap 8 truk yang terdiri atas arm roll dan
compactor maka trip yang dilakukan perhari adalah 1 sampai
dengan 2 trip, dengan waktu jam kerja efektif adalah 7 jam.
Hasil penelitian ini, seperti: penambahan beban kerja
(penambahan trip perhari), penghematan bahan bakar untuk
mengurangi efek Gas Rumah Kaca akan digunakan untuk
optimalisasi system pengangkutan sampah yang ada di
wilayah Surabaya Selatan.

The target of garbage transportation according to RPJMN
2015-2019 is 75%, Surabaya City has done a good
transportation system and use a new conveyor that is
compactor truck. Due to increasing population and activity in
Surabaya City especially in South Surabaya area will increase
the amount of waste that must be managed and transported
to TPA. It is important to know how much transportation
equipment is needed in the next ten (10) years and the
optimization efforts that should be made to improve waste
transportation services. Garbage transportation activities also
generate emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), so it is important
to know how much the contribution of GHG emissions from
transportation in South Surabaya area. This activity is aimed
to optimize waste transportation in the existing condition, so
that the percentage of garbage transportation service activity
can be increased and able to calculate the amount of
greenhouse gas emission (GHG) generated from Garbage
transportation activity.
The research was conducted in South Surabaya City area,
covering analysis of existing condition of garbage
transportation system by mapping method in TPS and at TPA
for 8 different days. Routing will be observed on 8 garbage

vehicles that have been determined. Trucks to be observed
are arm roll trucks and compactor trucks serving TPS in South
Surabaya area. The optimization analysis is based on the
existing condition analysis by maximizing the remaining time
per day owned by each vehicle personnel to increase ritual
and optimize off-route time. GHG emissions from the
environmental aspect, will be analyzed to determine the
impact of this transport system to the environment.
Result of the research indicate that existing condition for
garbage transportation from South Suabaya area is done by
arm roll and compactor truck. Based on the observation of 8
trucks consisting of arm roll and compactor then trips made
per day are 1 to 2 trips, with effective working time is 6 hours.
The results of this research will be used to optimize waste
transportation system in South Surabaya.
