Abstract
Dalam masa operasional, graving dock gate selalu mendapat beban berulang yang berbeda yang bergantung dari ketinggian sarat dan ketinggian ballast yang ada didalam tangki graving dock gate. Dengan adanya beban siklis yang terjadi pada struktur graving dock gate, maka dapat dilakukan analisa fatigue (kelelahan). Analisa fatigue (kelelahan) dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan Metode Simplified Fatigue Life Assessment untuk mendapatkan nilai stress range. Analisa dimulai dengan pemodelan struktur graving dock gate pada software analisa elemen hingga. Untuk mendapatkan nilai K2 pada lokasi kelelahan yang ditinjau, dilakukan penerjemahan konfigurasi sambungan menurut rules BKI ke rules IACS. Menurut regulasi BKI, kekuatan graving dock gate dianggap memenuhi jika memiliki nilai tegangan maksimum tidak melebihi nilai tegangan ijin yaitu 235 N/mm2. Hasil analisa dari tujuh lokasi sambungan kritis menunjukkan memiliki nilaitegangan maksimum sebesar 230 N/mm2, dengan kata lain struktur graving dock gatememenuhi class rules. Dari hasil tegangan maksimum yang didapat dari tujuh lokasi sambungan, maka fatigue life (umur kelelahan) dapat dihitung. Fatigue life dari struktur graving dock gate adalah 30.78 tahun.

During an operational period, graving dock gate always receive cyclic loads depends on the height of draught and ballast. The fatigue life analysis were calculated based on the cyclic loads on the graving dock gate structures. The fatigue life analysis could be approached by using Simplified Fatigue Life Assessment Method to get the stress range on the graving dock gate structures. The stress range is used to calculate the cumulative fatigue damage. The analysis started by modelling of graving dock gate structures using finite element analysis software. The value of K2 is determined based on the class rules i.e. IACS rules. Permissible stress for the structure is not more than 235 N/mm2. Analysis result on the seven critical structure connection shows that the maximumstress is 230 N/mm2, it means that the graving dock gate structure is met to class rules.Based on the maximum stress in seven critical structure connection, the fatigue life of graving dock gate structures could be calculated. The fatigue life of graving dock gate structures is 30.78 years.
