Abstract
Studi tentang formula tegangan geser dasar dan transportasi sedimen dasar
telah mengalami perkembangan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Penelitian tentang
formula ini telah banyak dilakukan dalam berbagai kondisi dan diperbarui oleh
para peneliti sebelumnya. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, pengujian formula
tegangan geser dasar dan transportasi sedimen dasar masih terbatas dari hasil
eksperimen dan jarang digunakan untuk kondisi nyata. Dalam thesis ini,
penerapan formula tegangan geser dasar dan transportasi sedimen dasar akan
digunakan untuk mengetahui perubahan morfologi dasar laut di area PLTGU
Grati,Pasuruan. Hasil dari formula tegangan geser dasar dan transportasi sedimen
dasar akan dibandingkan dengan hasil model numerik menggunakan software
MIKE 21. Dari hasil perhitungan dan model numerik,diketahui bahwa formula
tegangan geser dasar dan transportasi sedimen dasar memberikan hasil yang
signifikan dengan simulasi model dengan nilai RMSE mendekati 0.00 pada
beberapa titik yang dianalisa. Melalui penerapan formula ini nantinya akan dapat
mempercepat proses perhitungan prediksi perubahan morfologi dasar laut
dibandingkan menggunakan simulasi model numerik yang membutuhkan waktu
yang lama dan perangkat komputer yang mahal.

Study on the bottom shear stress and bed load sediment transport formula
has been progressed for several years. Research about this formula has been
applied in various conditions and updated by the other researchers.However,many
researchers only tested the formula based on experimental study and still rarely
used in field condition. In this study,the bottom shear stress and bed load sediment
transport formula is used for determining the morphological change in the area
PLTGU Grati,Pasuruan.The results from bottom shear stress and bed load
sediment transport formula will be compared with the results from numerical
models using MIKE 21 software. From the calculation, it can be concluded that
the bottom shear stress and bed load sediment transport formula have a good
agreement from the results using MIKE 21 models with RMSE is 0.00 on several
observation area.The application of this formula in real condition will be able to
speed up the process of prediction of morphological changes compared by using
numerical simulation models that take a long time and also need expensive
computer equipment .
