Abstract
Kapal patroli cepat (FPB) 61 m merupakan salah satu
kapal patroli yang dirancang untuk melindungi dan
mengawasi suatu wilayah perairan. Dalam pengembangannya,
kapal patroli ini didesain untuk dapat mecapai kecepatan
hingga 30 knot. Kecepatan yang tinggi sampai saat ini
merupakan salah satu faktor utama yang harus dimiliki kapal
patroli. Namun perkembangan pengaplikasian di lapangan
masih sangat terbatas. Salah satu cara untuk pertimbangannya
adalah dengan menggunakan sistem propulsi water jet.
Dalam perancangan ini, nilai tahanan berdasarkan
metode Savitsky sebesar 302,7 kN. Serta masing – masing
engine membutuhkan daya sebesar 3663,74 kW dan daya
untuk pompa water jet sebesar 3051,9 kW. Berdasarkan data
dan perhitungan kebutuhan daya didapat spesifikasi untuk
main engine dengan merk MTU 20V 4000 M93 dan water jet
dengan merk Hamilton HT810. Berdasarkan perhitungan
putaran spesifik didapat 8323.602 RPM.

Fast patrol boats (FPB) 61 m is one of the patrol boats
designed to protect and supervise a territorial waters. In
development, is designed to patrol boats can achieve speeds
up to 30 knots. High speed till at this time is one of main
factor to be owned by patrol boats. But the development of the
application in the field is still very limited. One way for
consideration is to use water jet propulsion system.
In this design, resistance value based on Savitsky
method is 302,7 kN. And each engine need power equal to
3663,74 kW and the power of water jet pump is 3051,9 kW.
Based on data and calculation, power needs obtained
specification of main engine is MTU 20V 4000 M93 and
water jet pump is Hamilton HT810. Based on the calculation
of specific rotary is 8323,602 rpm.
