Abstract
Kabupaten Sidoarjo merupakan salah satu daerah yang berbatasan dan memiliki akses langsung dengan Kota Surabaya. Salah satu transportasi umum yang ada di Kabupaten Sidoarjo selain angkutan kota dan kereta api ialah Bus Trans Sidoarjo. Bus Trans Sidoarjo merupakan sebuah sistem tranportasi bus yang cepat, murah dan ber-AC. Bus Trans Sidoarjo melayani perjalanan untuk di dalam Kabupaten Sidoarjo dengan 16 pemberhentian. Trayek dimulai dari Terminal Porong hingga Terminal Purabaya. Namun masyarakat merasa kesulitan dalam menuju tempat tujuan perjalanan dan menentukan pemberhentian, kesulitan akan kepastian waktu kedatangan bus di shelter dan lama perjalanan ketika menggunakan Bus Trans Sidoarjo. Dengan demikian, perlu adanya analisa pola perjalanan dan karakteristik penumpang Bus Trans Sidoarjo.
Tahapan pengerjaan tugas akhir ini meliputi studi literatur, pengumpulan data sekunder, penentuan jumlah sampel, pengumpulan data primer dengan cara survey on bus dan survey pada beberapa halte, melakukan analisa distribusi perjalanan penumpang, analisa aksesibiltas, perhitungan waktu tempuh rata-rata dan headway bus, analisa biaya operasional kendaraan untuk membandingkan biaya yang digunakan menggunakan moda BRT Sidoarjo dengan kendaraan pribadi, menyimpulkan hasil analisa dan saran.
Hasil dari tugas akhir ini menunjukkan pola perjalanan penumpang terbanyak untuk rute Terminal Porong – Terminal Purabaya yaitu antar Halte Pondok Mutiara – Terminal Purabaya sebesar 27.913 penumpang, untuk rute sebaliknya yaitu antar Terminal Purabaya – Pondok Jati sebesar 26.168 Penumpang. Berdasarkan karakteristik, jenis kelamin dominan adalah perempuan sebesar 56%, umur dominan 40-44 tahun sebesar 13,9%, pekerjaan dominan pegawai swasta sebesar 38%, maksud perjalanan dominan adalah bekerja sebesar 38%, cara menuju halte didominasi menggunakan angkutan kota dan diantar kendaraan pribadi sebesar 31%, cara menuju tempat tujuan akhir didominasi angkutan kota dan diantar sebesar 35%, halte asal didominasi Terminal Purabaya sebesar 32%, halte tujuan didominasi Terminal Purabaya sebesar 47%, tarif didominasi dengan tarif 6.000 rupiah sebesar 96%, intensitas didominasi secara tak tentu sebesar 46%. Waktu tempuh rata-rata untuk satu rit perjalanan adalah sebesar 59,53 menit. Waktu antara atau headway rata-rata secara keseluruhan halte adalah sebesar 29,92 menit. Tarif yang diperlukan untuk menggunakan BRT Sidoarjo yaitu sebesar Rp 6.000,00 (umum/mahasiswa) dan Rp 2.000,00 (pelajar), sedangkan untuk kendaraan pribadi membutuhkan biaya sebesar Rp 37.030,00 - Rp 39.255,00 /kendaraan-km dengan rute yang sama.

District of Sidoarjo is one of the district that adjacent and has direct access to Surabaya City. One of the public transport which exist in Sidoarjo besides public transport and train is Trans Sidoarjo Bus. Trans Sidoarjo Bus is a fast, cheap, and air conditioned bus transportation system. Trans Sidoarjo Bus serving trip for inside district of Sidoarjo with 16 bus shelter. The route start from Purabaya Bus Station and ends at Purabaya Bus Station. But, the people find it difficult to get to the destination and decide the stoppage, and also the difficulty of certainty of bus arrival time at the bus shelter, and the lenght of trip when using Trans Sidoarjo Bus. Therefore, it needs travel patterns and characteristic analysis of passenger trans sidoarjo bus.
The stage of processing this final project include literature study, secondary data collection, determining the number of samples, primary data collection by survey on bus and survey on sveral bus stops, analysus of travel distribution and accessibility, characteristic of bus passengers, average travel time, average bus headway time, operational cost analysis for the cost of using BRT Sidoarjo mode with private vehicle, and summarizes the results and make suggestions.
The result of this final project showed the highest passenger traffic patterns for route Porong – Purabaya Bus Stasion is between Pondok Mutiara Shelter – Purabaya Bus Station as big as 27.913 passengers, for the reverse route is between Purabaya Bus Station – Pondok Jati Shelter as big as 26.168 passengers. Based on the characteristic, the dominant gender is female as big as 56%, dominant age is between 40-44 years old as big as 13,9%, dominant job is private employees as big as 38%, the purpose of the dominant journey is to work as big as 38%, the way to the shelter is dominated by using public transport and delivered as big as 31%, the way to the final destination is dominated by using public transport and delivered by private vehicle as big as 35%, the origin shelter is dominated by Purabaya Bus Station as big as 32%, the destination shelter is dominated by Purabaya sebesar Bus Station 47%, fare is dominated by Rp 6.000 as big as 96%, intensity is dominated by indefinitely as big as 46%. The average of travel time for one rit trip is 59,53 minutes. The average of headway for entire shelters is 29,92 minutes. Fares needed to use BRT Sidoarjo is as big as Rp 6.000,00 (public/ college student) and Rp 2.000,00 (student), whereas for private transport is as big as Rp 37.030,00 - Rp 39.255,00 /vehicle-km with same route.
