Abstract

Pada studi ini dibahas mengenai pengaruh cara potong inti terhadap inrush current pada transformator satu fasa 1-kVA dan tiga fasa 3-kVA. Cara potong yang digunakan yaitu cara potong E-I dan E-E. Dilakukan pemodelan pada transformator satu fasa dan tiga fasa. Pemodelan tersebut didasarkan pada rangkaian ekivalen. Nilai rugi-rugi inti besi juga diperhitungkan. Selain itu dilakukan simulasi berbasis finite-element method (FEM). Besarnya inrush current yang didapatkan dari simulasi berbasis rangkaian ekivalen dibandingkan dengan hasil pengujian. Sedangkan simulasi berbasis FEM digunakan untuk mengetahui besarnya kerapatan fluks dan intensitas medan magnet pada transformer. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa besarnya inrush current dipengaruhi oleh rugi-rugi inti dan cara potong E-I memberikan nilai puncak inrush current yang lebih rendah. ============ This study deals with core-cutting topology effects of single phase 1-KVA and three phase 3-KVA transformer on its inrush current. Different core-cutting topologies of transformer which is E-I and E-E were studied. Finite-element method and equivalent circuit based simulation were done to understand its effect on inrush current of transformer. Equivalent circuit is used to obtain the peak value of inrush current. Meanwhile finite-element method simulation is used to understand the distribution of flux density and magnetic field intensity. The results show that inrush current value influenced by core losses. Moreover, it is shown that E-I cutting topology gives lower peak value of inrush current.
