Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi membawa pengaruh akan meningkatnya kebutuhan akan daya listrik, namun ketersediaan sumber energi konvensional (minyak dan batu bara) semakin menipis yang tentunya akan berdampak pada tingkat ketahanan listrik. Oleh karenanya diperlukan pembangkit-pembangkit yang menggunakan energi terbarukan. Dengan banyaknya jenis pembangkit yang menggunakan energi terbarukan dalam sistem distribusi maupun transmisi, maka penggunaan analisis aliran daya dapat menguntungkan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan analisis tersebut dapat menghitung kestabilan pada suatu sistem tenaga listrik. Pada tugas
akhir ini dilakukan analisis mengenai kestabilan tegangan steady-state pada suatu generator karena adanya penetrasi angin yang tinggi. Alat bantu simlasi komputer MATPOWER digunakan untuk menunjukkan efektivitas dan efisiensi perhitungan.

The development of science and technology also make the increasing need for electrical power, but the availability of conventional energy sources (such as fuels and coals) are depleting, which would certainly have an impact on the level of electrical resistance. Therefore power plant with renewable energy as its source is required. Because there are so many types of power plants using renewable energy in both distribution and tranmission systems, so using power flow analysis can be advantageous. That is because such an analysis can calculate the stability of the electric power system. This research will show how steady state voltage stability with high penetration of wind can be analyzed using power flow analysis. There is also simulation using MATPOWER to demonstatrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the calculation using that analysis.
