Abstract

Expanding Maternal and Neonatal Survival (EMAS) is a program of The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), which was launched in 2011. In Tangerang Regency, it is adapted into a ‘sijariemas’ (Information System and Communication of Maternal and Neonatal Referral Network) system, that has been running for about 2 years. This system is developed to reduce maternal mortality (due to labor) and newborns in Tangerang Regency. 'SIJARIEMAS' system changes the way emergency patients refer from manual, to application-based (one big system).
With this new technology, some health workers are finding it difficult to move to the new system, it affected by many factors, analysis factor to see the level of user acceptance to the ‘sijariemas’ system, it can be done with a survey to the health workers in Tangerang Regency area. Innovation Diffusion Theory-Technology Acceptance Model (IDT-TAM) is one model that can be used to analyze whether the 'sijariemas' system is acceptable to its users. Data from the survey results are processed by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).
The output from this final project shows that 7 of 9 hypotheses can be fulfilled, where Actual Use variable is strongly affected by Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use variable, Perceived Usefulness variable strongly affected by Relative Advantage, Image, and Compatibility variable. While Perceived Ease of Use variable is strongly affected by Voluntariness, Visibility, Trialability, and Result Demonstrability variable.
