Abstract

Sebuah perusahaan di Surabaya akan membangun pabrik baru dengan produk WRG dan Stirrup dalam berbagai ukuran diameter dan bentuk. Pabrik tersebut membutuhkan suatu sistem untuk membuat perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi (PPC) yang dapat memenuhi permintaan sesuai dengan jenis, jumlah, dan waktu yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian ini mempertimbangkan beberapa metode Sistem PPC yang sudah ada (EOQ/EPQ, MRP, JIT dan TOC) untuk diimplementasikan. Hasil analisis antara karakterisitk setiap alternatif Sistem PPC terhadap kesesuaian dengan proses bisnis perusahaan dan proses produksi, maka Metode MRP merupakan Sistem PPC yang paling sesuai untuk diimplementasikan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) untuk perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi produk WRG dan Stirrup. Selain itu, hasil uji coba Sistem PPC menunjukan perbaikan perencanaan produksi dengan melakukan penyesuaian produksi antara produk WRG standar (Make to Stock) dan WRG kustom (Make to Order) berdasarkan aspek komersial dari masing-masing permintaan =========== A company in Surabaya will build a new factory with WRG and Stirrup products in various diameter and shape sizes. The plant require a system to make production planning and control (PPC) that can meet the demand accordance with the type, amount, and time specified. This study considers some of the methods of existing PPC system (EOQ/EPQ, MRP, JIT and TOC) to be implanted. The result of analysis between the characteristics of each alternatices PPC System to conformity with the company's business processes and production processes, then the MRP method is the most appropriate PPC System to be implemented. This research produces Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for planning and controlling production of WRG and Stirrup products. In addition, the PPC System test result show improved production planning by making production adjustment between standard WRG product (Make to Stock) and customized WRG product (Make to Order) based on commercial aspect of each request.
