Abstract
Potensi
penurunan emisi gas metana pada penelitian ini dilakukan pada
sektor limbah cair domestik dan non domestik berdasarkan pengoperasian tangki
septik yang ditinjau berdasarkan tiga aspek yaitu, aspek
lingkungan, teknis, dan
ekonomi. Untuk menyusun strategi penurunan emisi gas metana, terlebih dahulu
dilakukan perhitungan
dan analisa mengenai tiga aspek tersebut
, yaitu,
melakukan
perhitungan mengenai dampak dan kerugian lingkungan akibat emisi CH
4
dari
aktifitas domestik dan non domestik di Surabaya Timur. Melakukan perhitungan
konversi gas CH
4
menjadi energi listrik yang ditinjau dari aspek teknisnya.
Merencanakan strategi penurunan emisi CH
4
dan menghitung nilai ekonominya.

sama halmya seperti hasil IPCC dan non domestik. Emisi gas metana dipengaruhi
oleh kenaikan populasi, semakin tinggi populasi maka semakin tinggi emisi gas
metana yang dihasilkan. Sehingga membuat dampak lingkungan yang semakin
besar pula pada lingkungan.
Energi listrik yang dihasilkan dari
sektor domestik
pada tahun 2013

kWh, Energi listrik meningkat setiap tahunnya sejalan
dengan peningkatan emisi gas metana.
Penerapan energi terbarukan sangat
menunjang bagi usaha untuk menurunkan emisi gas metan di Surabaya Timur.
namun penerapan teknologi tersebut juga terdapat beberapa
permasalahan.

The potential decrease in the emission of methane gas on the research carried out on the sector of domestic liquid waste and non domestic based on operation of septic tanks that are reviewed based on three aspects, namely, environmental aspects, technical, and economic. To strategize a decrease in emissions of methane gas, first performed the calculations and analysis on three aspects, namely, performing calculations on the impact and harm the environment due to emissions of CH4 from domestic and non-domestic activities in Surabaya, the East. Calculating gas CH4 conversion into electrical energy which is reviewed from its technical aspects. Plan a strategy for decreasing emissions of CH4 and calculate the value of its economy.
Calculation of the emission of methane gas is conducted with reference to the method that has been developed by the IPCC 2006 and previous research based on the mass of CH4. Calculation of electric energy based on electric energy conversion factors. The determination of the strategy based on the RAD-GRK Surabaya and East Java province RAD_GRK.
Based on calculations, domestic liquid waste generates methane gas emissions in 2013 of 171.31 m3/year and increase every year in the same halmya as the IPCC and non domestic results. Emissions of methane gas is affected by the increase in the population, the higher the population then the higher emissions of methane gas produced. So make a bigger environmental impact on the environment. Electrical energy generated from the domestic sector in the year 2013 1458508.7 kWh, electric energy increased each year in line with the increase in the emission of methane gas. The application of renewable energy is very conducive for businesses to lower the emission of methane gas in Eastern Surabaya. However the application of these technologies there are also some problems.
