Abstract

Ketersediaan spare part pada suatu industri sangat penting agar perusahaan terhindar dari kerugian yang disebabkan oleh berhentinya operasi mesin karena ketidaktersediaan spare part. Pengendalian persediaan spare part pada PT.X masih menggunakan metode perhitungan order quantity yang sederhana dan tidak mempertimbangkan shortage cost, sehingga tidak ada antisipasi terhadap kemungkinan failure spare part yang tiba-tiba. Sehingga perlu adanya penentuan jumlah pesanan dan order quantity yang optimal agar dapat meminimasi total biaya persediaan yang terdiri dari biaya pemesanan, biaya penyimpanan, dan biaya shortage. Pada penelitian ini memperhitungkan biaya persediaan yang terdiri dari order cost, holding cost, dan shortage cost untuk menentukan order quantity dan reorder point yang optimum dengan menggunakan permodelan optimasi menggunakan Integer Non-Linear Programming. Output model memberikan penghematan sebesar paling sedikit 88% dan maksimal 96% tergantung dari besarnya time interval yang akan digunakan oleh perusahaan. =========== The availability of spare part in industry is very important, in order to avoid loss caused by the termination of engine operation due to spare part stockout. Currently, spare part procurement in PT.X still using simple calculation that not consider shortage cost, so there is no anticipation concerning spare part failure that can happen suddenly. Due to those things, PT. X need to determine an optimum order quantity and reorder point in order to minimize inventory total cost that consist of ordering cost, holding cost and shortage cost. In this study considering inventory cost that consist of order cost, holding cost and shortage cost to determine an optimum order quantity and reorder point by using optimation modelling with Integer Non -Linear Programming. Output model provides cost savings at least 88% and maximum 96% depend on size of time interval that company choose.
