Abstract

Digital signage adalah teknologi informasi digital yang dikemas dalam memberikan tontonan visual yang menarik dan atraktif, memuat beraneka informasi berupa gambar, video, scroll text, grafik, menggunakan media display elektronik seperti LCD/LED TV, Proyektor maupun digital billboard sebagai output.Dengan dikembangkannya perangkat single board computer serta video processing dapat digunakan untuk memberikan informasi melalui Digital signage secara real-time dan cepat sehingga tidak perlu melalui proses panjang untuk menampilkan informasinya. Single board computer yang digunakan pada alat adalah berupa Raspberry Pi yang berfungsi untuk mengambil informasi dari database yang terdapat hasil informasi yang telah di kirim melalui komputer sebelumnya. Aplikasi dirancang sebagai alternatif untuk menampilkan konten media berupa video, gambar dan teks sehingga mampu untuk menggantikan kemampuan Digital signage saat ini yang membutuhkan sumber daya yang lebih besar. Setelah melalui pengujian, diketahui bahwa aplikasi ini mampu memproses penampil konten berupa video, gambar dan teks berjalan sesuai dengan kemampuan perangkat raspberry pi 3. Uji ketergunaan juga dilakukan untuk mengukur kepuasan pengguna dari aplikasi yang dirancang dengan meminta partisipan untuk menkonfigurasi serta mengakses aplikasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur yang dirancang berjalan dengan baik. Melalui kuisioner dari partisipan diketahui bahwa total 65% setuju dan 35% sangat setuju bahwa aplikasi yang dibuat mampu menampilkan informasi gambar dan video. ================================================================================================================ Digital signage is a digital information technology that packaged in providing attractive visual spectacle, containing various information in the form of pictures, videos, scroll text, charts, graphics, schedule, news, weather presented dynamically using electronic display media such as LCD / LED TV , Projector or digital billboard as output. The appearance of additional information of a digital information makes the appearance of information less rapid in the changes and requires a long process just for that. With the development of single board computer devices and video processing can be used to provide information through Digital signage in real-time and quickly so that no need to go through a long process to display the information. Single board computer used in the tool is a Raspberry Pi that serves to retrieve information from the database that results of information that has been sent through the previous computer. The app is designed as an alternative to showcasing media content in a video, image and text so it able to replace the current Digital signage with the capabilities that require more resources. After testing, it is known that this application is able to process the content viewer in the form of video, image and text to running with the ability of raspberry pi device 3. The usability test is also done to measure user satisfaction of the designed application by asking participants to configure and access the application. Test results show that all the features that are designed run well. Through a questionnaire of participants it is known that a total of 65% agree and strongly agree that the application is made capable of displaying image and video information.
