Abstract

Deck Mounted Thruster (DMT) merupakan sistem penggerak kapal dimana peletakan main engine terletak dibagian deck utama. Mount thruster sistem ini dapat bergerak 1800, sedangkan thruster dapat berputar 3600. Di Indonesia DMT masih sangat jarang digunakan, padahal jika melihat karakteristik perairan sungai-nya yang sangat cepat terjadi sedimentasi, DMT sangat tepat jika digunakan untuk penggerak kapal penyebrangan sungai, karena shaft dari sistem ini dapat menyesuaikan dengan kondisi perairan. Maka dari itu pada penelitian ini bertujaan untuk mendapatkan analisa teknis berupa perhitungan tahanan, kebutuhan daya main engine, dan desain peletakan engine, sedangkan dari segi ekonomis mendapatkan biaya investasi(BI),biaya operasional dan nilai present value perancangan sistem DMT. Sebagai perbandingan dalam penelitian maka digunaka main engine berjumlah 1,2,dan 4 buah. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan nilai tahanan total kapal dengan menggunakan rumus senilai 11,3 kN dan menggunakan softwere senilai 12,3 kN, kemudian dilakukan validasi anatara keduanya dengan batasan <15% dan didapat nilai validasi yaitu 8,13%. Untuk menggeraka kapal dengan kecepatan 9 knot dibutuhkan daya main engine sebesar 101 kW, dengan besar tiap main engine per unit yang berbeda sesuai jumlahnya. Dengan jumlah 1 main engine dipilih engine dengan daya sebesar 112kW, 2 main engine dipilih dengan daya sebesar 75 kW, dan 4 main engine dipilih engine dengan daya sebesar 75 kW karena engine beroperasi hanya 2 buah saja. Analisis ekonomi pada penelitian ini didapatkan BI untuk 1 main engine sebesar Rp. 448.000.000,- , 2 main engine sebesar Rp. 600.000.000,- sedangkan 4 main engine sebesar Rp. 1.200.000.000,- . Biaya Operasional sampai tahun ke-30 berturut-turut sebesar Rp. 42.603.365.675,38, Rp. 43.923.376.564,18, Rp.45.980.136.868,23. Kelayakan investasi berdasarkan NPV penggunaan deck monted thruster bisa diterima. ========== Deck Mounted Thruster (DMT) is a ship propulsion system where main engine laying is located at the main deck section. This Mount thruster system can move 1800, while the thruster can spin 3600. In Indonesia DMT is still very rarely used, but if you look at the characteristics of its river waters are very fast sedimentation occurs, DMT is very appropriate if used to drive the river crossing boat, because the shaft of this system can adjust to water conditions. Therefore, in this research the goal is to obtain technical analysis in the form of resistance calculations, main engine power requirements, and engine laying design, while in terms of economical, we could get investment cost, operational costs and present value design of DMT system. For comparison in this research, we used main engine amounted 1,2, and 4 pieces. In this research, we obtained the value of total ship resistance by using the formula worth 11.3 kN and using software worth 12.3 kN, then we do a validation between the both of them with a limit of <15% and got the validation value which is 8.13%. To move a vessel with a speed of 9 knots requires a main engine power of 101 kW, with a different size of each main engine per unit which is different according to the amount. With 1 main engine engine selected with 112kW power, 2 main engines selected with power of 75 kW, and 4 main engines selected with power of 75 kW because the engine that operates only 2 pieces. From Economic analysis in this research, we got the investment cost for 1 main engine is Rp. 448.000.000, -, 2 main engines Rp. 600,000,000, - and 4 main engines is Rp. 1,200,000,000, -. Operational costs up to 30 years is Rp. 42.603.365.675,38, Rp. 43.923.376.564,18, Rp.45.980.136.868,23. Investment feasibility based on NPV using deck mounted thruster is acceptable.
