Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of mineral potential so it needs survey and analysis in order to exploit that potential. A method which can be used to this is gravity method. Therefore gravity method research has beenheld in Pongkor, West Java. Data acquisition had been conducted at March, 23rd – May, 27th 2013 using SCINTREX AUTOGRAV CG-5.Complete Bouguer Anomaly in topography was reducted to plane usingmethod by Dampney. Then the data was filtered using upwardcontinuation in 300 meters to separate regional and residual anomalies. 2,5D models were made from residual anomaly will be corelated with geologicalinformation and structural analysis with FHD (First Horizontal Derivative) and
SVD (Second Vertical Derivative) analysis to estimate fault interface. The results show potential for mineralization in typical lowsulphidation epithermal deposit. There were five rock layers in this area, these rocksare tuff breccia (2.55 gr/cm3), lapilli tuff (2.40 gr/cm3), tuff (2.30 gr/cm3), and dacitebreccia (2.65 gr/cm3), and there was intrusion of andesite (2.85gr/cm3).
