Abstract
Meningkatnya permintaan produk farmasi di Indonesia yang memliliki jumlah penduduk 261,89 juta jiwa membuat banyak perusahaan farmasi bermunculan. Perusahaan farmasi di Indonesia dituntut untuk memberikan jaminan kepada konsumen bahwa produk yang dihasilkan memenuhi standar kualitas yang telah ditetapkan. PT. Kapsulindo Nusantara merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di industri farmasi yakni produksi obat dengan jenis Oil Gelatine Capsule dan Standard Gelatine Capsule. Terdapat 8 mesin pembuat kapsul beroperasi secara kontinu 24 jam sehari. Mesin yang memiliki frekuensi downtime paling besar yakni mesin D. Pada Hard Capsule Machine, terdapat 7 sistem yakni dipping, upper deck, rear elevator, lower deck, table, block automatic, dan greaser system. Greaser system merupakan salah satu dari system yang krusial, dimana sebagai pembersih dan pelumas pin bar. Apabila proses pelumasan dan pembersihan tidak berjalan dengan baik, kapsul yang dihasilkan akan mengalami penurunan kualitas. Selain itu greaser system dianalisis karena belum ada penelitian terdahulu yang mengangkat tentang greaser system secara mendalam di PT. Kapsulindo Nusantara.
Penelitian ini diawali dengan studi lapangan dan identifikasi permasalahan yang ada ke PT. Kapsulindo Nusantara untuk mengetahui kondisi dan informasi perusahaan. Studi literatur yang dilakukan adalah mengenai sistem Hard Capsule Machine yakni gambar serta fungsi subsistem dan komponen. Selanjutnya pengolahan data digunakan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Setelah pendefisian deskripsi sistem dilaksanakan, dilanjutkan dengan identifikasi penyebab kegagalan dengan RCM Information Worksheet. Tahap akhir adalah analisis perawatan yang tepat dengan menggunakan RCM Decision Worksheet.
Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah teridentifikasinya 31 failure mode dari hasil analisis RCM decision worksheet. Terdapat 8 failure mode yang dapat dicegah dengan Scheduled on Condition Task, 11 failure mode yang dapat dicegah dengan Scheduled restoration task, 9 failure mode yang dapat dicegah dengan Scheduled discard task, 2 failure mode yang perlakuan perawatanya dengan failure finding dan 1 failure mode yang harus di redesign. Selain karena failure mode, redesign pada greaser shell dikarenakan tingginya frekuensi downtime akibat system manual yang diterapkan saat ini. Satu Failure mode yang dicegah dengan Redesign adalah greaser shell. Greaser shell ditambahkan pipa penyalur fluida agar frekuensi penggantian greaser shell dapat berkurang.

The increasing demand for pharmaceutical products in Indonesia which has a population of 261.89 million people makes a lot of newcomers in pharmaceutical industries. Pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia are required to provide high quality products in order to compete. PT. Kapsulindo Nusantara is one of the many companies in the Indonesia’s pharmaceutical industry which has the speciality of capsule production with the type of Oil Gelatine Capsule and Standard Gelatine Capsule. There are 8 capsule machines operating continuously 24 hours a day. Machines that have the greatest downtime frequency is machine D. At Hard Capsule Machine, there are 7 systems. The systems are dipping, upper deck, rear elevator, lower deck, table, block automatic, and greaser system. Greaser system is one of the crucial system, where pin bar cleaned and lubricated. If the lubrication and cleaning process does not work properly, the quality of the capsule will decrease significantly. In addition, the greaser system was analyzed because no previous research about the greaser system at PT. Kapsulindo Nusantara.
This research begins with field study and identification of existing problems to PT. Kapsulindo Nusantara to examine the condition and company information. Hard Capsule Machine system will be analyzed in order to get the function of each subsystem and component. Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method used for further data processing. After defining the system description, proceed with identifying the cause of failure with RCM Information Worksheet. The final stage is an appropriate failure mode analysis using the RCM Decision Worksheet.
The result of this research is the identification of 31 failure modes from result of RCM decision worksheet analysis. There are eight preventable modes of failure with Scheduled on Condition Task, 11 preventable modes of failure with Scheduled restoration task, 9 preventable failure modes with Scheduled discard task, 2 failure modes treated by failure finding and 1 failure mode in redesign. In addition to failure mode, redesign on the greaser shell due to the high frequency of downtime due to manual system applied today. One Failure mode that is prevented by Redesign is a greaser shell. Greaser shell will be added with the brand new fluid supply pipes, so the greaser shell replacement frequency can be reduced significantly.
