Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghitung koefisien korelasi pada air dan sedimen untuk parameter BOD dan COD, serta menghitung beban pencemaran di Kali Surabaya antara IPAM Karangpilang I, II, III dan Dam Gunungsari, untuk BOD dan COD, dengan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder.
Pengambilan sampel air dan sedimen untuk parameter BOD, COD dan TSS pada penelitian ini dilakukan pada lima titik, setalah IPAM Karangpilang sampai sebelum DAM Gunungsari. Analisa konsentrasi BOD, COD, dan TSS dilakukan di laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Lingkungan ITS. Korelasi BOD dan COD dalam endapan dan dalam air dianalisis menggunakan metode Product Moment Pearson dengan pengolahan data menggunakan software minitab 16. Perhitungan besarnya daya tampung didapat dari selisih antara beban pencemaran berdasarkan baku mutu dikurangi dengan beban pencemaran dari hasil pengukuran. Kecepatan pengendapan dihitung dengan mencari bilangan reynold untuk menentukan jenis aliran, setelah didapatkan kecepatan pengendapan dan bilangan reynold dapat dicari bilangan Vscouring untuk mengetahui terjadinya gerusan atau resuspensi pada segmen sungai yang diteliti.
Dari penelitian ini didapat koefisien korelasi BOD, COD, dan TSS pada kelima titik memiliki keeratan dari lemah sampai kuat. Daya tampung air Kali Surabaya untuk konsentrasi BOD bulan Juni, Juli, dan Agustus 2017 sebesar -45357 kg/hari, -27267 kg/hari, -34625 kg/hari. Daya tampung COD bulan Juni, Juli, dan Agustus 2017 sebesar -18009 kg/hari, 1069 kg/hari, dan -11061 kg/hari. Berdasarkan perhitungan diperoleh Vscouring 0,03 m/det yang memungkinkan adanya resuspensi pada segmen sungai dan ditunjang dengan nilai bilangan Reynold yang transisi antara laminer dan turbulen.

The research aimed to calculate the correlation coefficient on water and sediment for BOD and COD parameters, and to calculate pollution load in Kali Surabaya between IPAM Karangpilang I, II, III and Dam Gunungsari, for BOD and COD, using primary data and secondary data. Sampling of water and sediments for BOD, COD and TSS parameters in this study was conducted on five points, which is after IPAM
Karangpilang until before DAM Gunungsari. Analysis of BOD, COD, and TSS concentrations was performed at the Laboratory of ITS Environmental Engineering Departement. The correlation of BOD and COD in sediment and in water will be obtained using Product Moment
Pearson method with data processing using minitab 16 software. The calculation of the amount of capacity is obtained from the result of difference between the pollution load based on the quality standard with the pollution load from the measurement result. Sedimentation rate is calculated by finding the reynold number to determine the flow type, after obtaining the speed of sedimentation and the reynold number, Vscouring number can be searched to know the occurrence of scour or resuspension in river segment that observed. From this research, it obtained the correlation coefficient of BOD, COD, and TSS in the five points which have closeness from weak to strong. The water capacity of Kali Surabaya for BOD concentrations in June, July and August 2017 is - 45357 kg / day, - 27267 kg / day, - 34625
kg / day. COD capacity in June, July, and August 2017 is
- 18009 kg / day, 1069 kg / day, and - 11061 kg/day. Based on the calculation, it obtained Vscouring 0.03 m / s that allows the resuspension in the river segment and supported by the value of Reynolds number of transition between laminer and turbulent.
