Abstract
Pertumbuhan ekonomi yang pesat setiap tahunnya menyebabkan terjadinya peningkatan pada volume peti kemas yang ditangani di suatu pelabuhan. Salah satunya adalah volume peti kemas di Tanjung Priok sehingga pelabuhan tersebut mencapai kapasitasnya untuk menampung peti kemas. Selain itu, pengiriman dari segi darat dari Tanjung Priok juga sering mengalami kemacetan yang cukup tinggi. Untuk itu, Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dibangunnya pelabuhan baru di wilayah Subang, Jawa Barat dengan mengetahui wilayah industri di sekitar Jawa Barat, kemungkinan perpindahan pengiriman peti kemas, pangsa pasar dan biaya dikeluarkan untuk pengiriman peti kemas baik dari foreland maupun segi hinterland. Pengiriman peti kemas dari lima negara yaitu Singapura, Cina, Korea, Thailand dan Malaysia. Pengiriman peti kemas melalui hinterland dan foreland menuju daerah Karawang dan Bekasi lebih efektif melalui Tanjung Priok dengan biaya sebesar Rp 3,6 juta dan Rp 2,8 jutasedangkan pengiriman menuju daerah Subang, Indramayu, Bandung, Tasikmalaya, dan Purwakarta lebih efektif melalui Patimban dengan biaya masing masing adalah Rp 2,7 juta, Rp 3,4 juta, Rp 4,9 juta, Rp 6 juta dan Rp 3,7 juta. Dengan metode HHI, potensi pangsa pasar masih dimeangkan oleh Tanjung Priok.

The rapid economic growth each year causes an increase in the volume of containers handled in a port. One of them is the volume of containers at Tanjung Priok so that the port reaches its capacity to accommodate containers. In addition, ground-based shipments from Tanjung Priok also often experience high traffic jams. To this end, this Final Project aims to analyze the construction of new ports in Subang, West Java by knowing the industrial area around West Java, the possibility of shipping container shipment, market share and expenses incurred for the delivery of containers from both foreland and hinterland. Shipping of containers from five countries: Singapore, China, Korea, Thailand and Malaysia. Delivery of containers through hinterland and foreland to Karawang and Bekasi areas is more effective through Tanjung Priok at a cost of Rp 3.6 million and Rp 2.8 million while deliveries to Subang, Indramayu, Bandung, Tasikmalaya and Purwakarta are more effective through Patimban with each cost is Rp 2.7 million, Rp 3.4 million, Rp 4.9 million, Rp 6 million and Rp 3.7 million. With the HHI method, the market share occurring at these two ports is 0.51 where the condition is a moderate state (oliglopoli).
