Abstract

Geology in Tugurejo Village, Slahung District, Ponorogo Regency is contain of sandstone. The soil Characteristics has a large porosity, so that water on the surface more easily get into the soil. To determine the level of landslide vulnerability, it is necessary to mapping the spread of fluid flow below the soil surface. In this research, the mapping is done using Very Low Frequency (VLF-EM) method. Results of VLF-EM data analysis, used Fraser & Karous-Hjelt filter and inversion process to find out the value of 2D resistivity. The results obtained from this research are conductive and resistive anomalies. Conductive anomalies correlate with the cracks located at the study site with a resistivity value of ± 6 ohm meters. This resistivity value is thought to be caused by the presence of rocks that have been saturated with fluid, thus having a low resistivity value. Land that has been saturated this fluid that can cause a landslide disaster.
