Abstract
Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) merupakan indikator yang digunakan untuk menilai kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat. Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS) tahun 2015 merilis data TPT di Indonesia menurut provinsi yang menunjukan Provinsi Aceh dan Provinsi Maluku memiliki TPT tertinggi yaitu sebesar 9,93. Terdapat empat faktor dari indikator sosial kependudukan yang diduga berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengangguran terbuka di Provinsi Aceh tahun 2015 yaitu Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja (TPAK), Laju Pertumbuhan Penduduk, Dependency Ratio, dan Presentase Penduduk Miskin. Berdasarkan analisa menggunakan scatter plot data yang telah diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistika Provinsi Aceh tahun 2015 menunjukan tidak adanya pola hubungan antara Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) dengan faktor-faktor yang diduga berpengaruh sehingga pada penelitian ini digunakan metode regresi nonparametrik spline truncated. Hasil analisa menunjukan bahwa variabel TPAK, Dependency Ratio, dan Presentase Penduduk Miskin berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) di Provinsi Aceh tahun 2015 dengan nilai koefisien determinasi 92,96.

Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS) as the goverment organization in charge to collect and publish data has published the data of unemployment on 2015. The data show that there are two Province with highest TPT they are Aceh and Maluku with 9,93 precent. There four factor allegedly affect the unemployment index on Aceh Province 2015 they are the labor force rate index, population growth rate, dependency ratio, and the precentage of poor people. Base on the analyze result for the scatterplot of the unemployment index with the four factor allegedly affect from the BPS’s data shown that the four plot did not follow any models of distributions. So nonparametric spline truncated regression can be use to analyze the case to get the optimum models. In this case used one, two, three, and th combinations of knot. The optimum models for this case is on the 3 knot models with the determination coefficient 92,96. The optimum models can explain that labor force rate index, dependency ratio, and the precentage of poor people are significanly affect the unemployment index.
