Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi poros maritim dunia. Hal itu dapat memajukan perekonomian Indonesia karena banyak peluang yang dapat diciptakan untuk menjamin konektivitas antar pulau, mengembangkan industri-industri, serta pengembangan transportasi laut. Saat ini pemerintah menanggapi hal tersebut dengan mengembangkan program tol laut, yaitu pemanfaatan kapal sebagai media pada sistem logistik yang menghubungkan seluruh pulau di Indonesia. Pendekatan ini diharapkan mampu melancarkan pendistribusian barang dan logistik di seluruh wilayah Indonesia agar biaya kebutuhan semakin rendah. Dari program tol laut tersebut, pemerintah menyediakan kapal-kapal Perintis. Kapal Perintis ini menghubungkan daerah-daerah terpencil di Indonesia. Panjangnya rute dan waktu tempuh menggunakan Kapal Perintis ini membutuhkan sarana untuk mewadahi kebutuhan pengguna kapal akan rasa nyaman dan aman ketika mereka berada diatas kapal. Para penumpang memerlukan sarana untuk mewadahi kebutuhan serta aktivitas yang mereka lakukan. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan perancangan Desain Interior Kapal Perintis 1200 GT ini adalah observasi, pengumpulan data, wawancara, kuisioner, studi eksisting, kriteria desain, studi literatur hingga dapat menghasilkan beberapa alternatif desain yang sesuai dengan konsep yang ditentukan. Output dari perancangan ini adalah berupa sketsa, 3D modelling, mock-up.

Indonesia as an archipelagic country has great potential to become the world's maritime axis. It can increase Indonesia's economy because of the many opportunities that can be created to ensure inter-island connectivity, develop industries, and the development of marine transportation. Currently the government is responding to this by developing a sea toll program, namely the use of ships as a medium on a logistics system that connects all the islands in Indonesia. This approach is expected to facilitate the distribution of goods and logistics throughout Indonesia to lower the cost of needs. From the sea toll program, the government provides Coaster ships. This ship links isolated areas of Indonesia. The length of the route and travel time using this ship requires a means to accommodate the needs of the ship's users for a sense of comfort and safety. Passengers need the means to accommodate their needs and activities. The method used in the design implementation of the 1200 GT Coaster Ship Interior Design are observation, data collection, interviews, questionnaires, existing studies, design criteria, literature studies to produce some design alternatives in accordance with the concepts specified. The output of this design is in the form of sketches, 3D modeling, and mock-up.
