Abstract

Crane membutuhkan transformator untuk mengatur tegangan sesuai dengan spesifikasi tegangan pada motor-motor listrik yang digunakan. Dalam pengoperasian transformator timbul arus starting pada saat dibebankan motor-motor listrik. Tugas akhir ini memberikan gambaran simulasi kondisi arus starting dan steady state pada transformator serta dampaknya terhadap drop tegangan pada bus – bus yang terhubung. Analisa yang dilakukan yaitu dengan melakukan simulasi software untuk melihat arus starting dan steady state transformator pada setiap pembebanan motor – motor listrik container crane. Hasil analisa tersebut terdapat drop tegangan yang tidak sesuai dengan standard IEEE yaitu terjadi selama lebih dari 60 detik. Sehingga perlu penambahan kapasitor dengan daya 806400 VAR sehingga drop tegangan hanya mencapai 6 detik sesuai dengan standart IEEE. Disarankan ditambahkan kapasitor 806400 VAR pada system container crane agar beroperasi dengan optimal. ====================================================================================================== Crane requires a transformer to regulate the voltage in accordance with the specification voltage on electric motors used. In transformer operation, the starting current is arised when connected to electric motor. This research provide an overview of current conditions simulating starting and steady state condition on the transformer and its impact voltage drop on the bus - bus connected. Analysis is conducted through a simulation software to see the flow of starting and steady state load current of transformer on each electric motor container crane. The result of this analysis is voltage drop which is incompatible with the IEEE standard that is going on for more than 60 seconds. Therefore it needs additional power capacitors with up to 806,400 VAR, resuting voltage drop was only 6 seconds accordance with the IEEE standard. It is suggested adding 806400 VAR capacitor to container crane system in order to operate optimally.
