Abstract

Cedera merupakan bagian resiko dari pemain sepakbola. Banyak hal yang dapat menyebabkan cedera pemain, bisa karena kontak fisik dengan lawan, kesalahan dari pemain sendiri, ataupun terjadi saat latihan. Beberapa faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi lama cedera pemain antara lain umur, jenis cedera, asal klub, posisi, indeks massa tubuh, kaki dominan, dan asal negara. Pada penelitian ini dibahas mengenai lama cedera pemain menggunakan analisis survival dengan pendekatan multiple period logit. Pendekatan period logit digunakan karena jenis faktor yang mempengaruhi lama cedera seringkali berubah-ubah setiap waktunya, seperti variabel jenis cedera, umur, dan asal klub. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada data rekam cedera pemain di English Premier League musim 2016/2017. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa variabel jenis cedera dan posisi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap lama cedera pemain.

Many things can cause players injuries, can be due to physical contact with opponents, error of players itself, or happen during practice. Saveral factors that can affect the length of injury players among others age, type of injury,club origin, position, body mass index, dominant foot, and country of origin. In this research will be discussed about the length of injury players using multiple period logit approximation. The logit period approach is used because the type of factors that affect often change over time, such as type of injury, age, and club origin. Variables used consist of survival time and player status as response variable and seven predictor variables suspected to have an effect on long-term players injury. This research was conducted on record data of injured players in English Premier League season 2016/2017. From the results of this study got the conclution that the variable type of injury and position significant effect on the length of injury players.
