Abstract
Suatu industri secara umumnya menghasilkan produk sampingan dan limbah seperti yang terdapat di PT. PETROKIMIA Gresik. Di unit pabrik nitrogen tersebut terdapat produk sampingan yakni gas karbondioksida (CO2) yang diproduksi ulang menjadi dry ice menggunakan mesin Dry Ice Press. Karena mesin yang terdapat di lapangan pengoperasiannya bisa dibilang sering maka perlu dilakukan analisa untuk mengetahui performa mesin ini. Maka dibuatlah desain ulang sistem elektrohidrolik yang terbagi atas hydraulic power dan signal control. Pada tugas akhir ini penulis berfokus pada perancangan ulang signal control (sistem kendali). Mesin ini memiliki kemampuan memadatkan bahan dengan cara menekan bahan tersebut dengan tekanan tinggi hingga mencapai spesifikasi yang diinginkan.
Perancangan ulang desain sistem kendali elektrohidrolik pada mesin ini diawali dengan observasi data di lapangan dan setelah itu mulai membuat rancang ulang desain yang lebih sederhana untuk sistem kendalinya.
Setelah dilakukan simulasi pada perancangan ulang sistem kendali yang lebih sederhana ternyata sirkuit dapat berjalan dengan baik.

PETROKIMIA Gresik. In the nitrogen plant there is a by-product of carbon dioxide gas (CO2) which is reproduced into dry ice using a Dry Ice Press machine. Because the machine contained in the field of operation can be spelled out often it is necessary to do an analysis to determine the performance of this machine. So the redesigned electrohydraulic system is divided into hydraulic power and signal control. In this final project the author focuses on redesigning the control signal (control system). This machine has the ability to compress the material by pressing the material with high pressure to reach the desired specifications.
The redesign of electrohydraulic control system design on this machine begins with observation of data in the field and after that begins to make a simpler design for the control system.
After a simulation of a simpler rework system design, the circuit works well.
