Abstract

Permintaan atas kapal komersial berkecepatan tinggi telah meningkat secara signifikan akhir-akhir ini. Berbagai macam percobaan model kapal jenis tersebut telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui tahanan yang mungkin timbul pada saat kapal dioperasikan. Dalam tugas akhir ini, teori lambung tipis digunakan untuk menganalisa tahanan gelombang untuk bentuk lambung yang berbeda pada kapal monohull. Adapun bentuk lambung yang digunakan adalah bentuk NPL dan Series 64. Untuk masing-masing bentuk, tugas akhir ini menghasilkan efek perubahan perbandingan LIB, BIT dan berbagai panjang serta Iebar kapal untuk displasemen konstan. Hasil akhimya berupa perhitungan tahanan gelombang. Dengan bantuan perangkat lunak yaitu program Delphi, karakteristik tahanan gelombang yang dihasilkan dari hasil perhitungan akan ditunjukkan dalam bentuk grafik, dan akan dibandingkan dengan hasil tahanan gelombang yang dihasilkan dari percobaan model ============================================================ Demand for commercial high-speed vessels has increased significantly in recent years. So many model test of this ship form has done to know the resistance that would appear when its operated. In this final project, thin-ship theory has been used to analyze the wave resistance for different hull forms in monohull. The hull forms used in this study were NPL and Series 64. For each of this configurations, this final project demonstrates the effect of changing length-to-beam ratio, beam-to-draught ratio, and of varying length or beam for constant displacement The final result is wave resistance calculation. It is helped by software using Delphi that wave resistance characteristics result from calculation will showed graphically, and it'll compare with wave resistance result from ship model test.
