Abstract

PT. X yang berlokasi di Gresik adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi batako. Selama ini kualitas produk batako yang dihasilkan PT.X masih dibawah standar nasional. Berdasarkan SNI 03-0348-1989 tentang mutu batako, karakteristik kualitas batako terdiri dari kuat tekan dan daya serap air dimana standar minimal untuk kuat tekan batako adalah 45 kg/cm2 dan daya serap air maksimal sebesar 35%. Untuk meningkatkan mutu batako, PT.X menggunakan bahan FAS (X1), bottom ash (X2) dan Agregat halus (X3) dengan rincian level FAS (0,4;0,5;0,6), Bottom ash (4 bagian; 5 bagian; 6 bagian) dan agregat halus (3 bagian; 2 bagian; 1 bagian). Penelitian sebelumnya dilakukan Damaris (2011) dengan hasil kombinasi level optimal FAS 0,4, bottom ash 5 bagian serta agregat halus 2 bagian. Level optimum penelitian Damaris (2011) menghasilkan nilai desirability untuk model a sebesar 0,90; model b sebesar 0,87 dan model c sebesar 0,85. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan fungsi desirability dan regresi fuzzy secara umum menghasilkan nilai desirability yang lebih besar untuk tiga model tersebut sebesar 0,91 untuk model a; 0,95 untuk model b dan 0,76 untuk model c. Model c dipilih sebagai rekomendasi dengan level optimal FAS 0,42, bottom ash 5,3 bagian dan agregat halus 1,8 bagian. Biaya produksi model c paling minimal dan mampu menghemat biaya produksi sebesar 54 rupiah per batako. =================================================================================================== PT. X which is located in Gresik is one of company that produces hollow block. Quality hollow block products produced PT.X still below the national standard. Based on the quality of SNI 03-0348-1989, characteristics quality of hollow block consist of compressive strength and water absorption which the minimum standards for compressive strength is 45 kg / cm2 and a maximum water absorption is 35%. To improve the quality of hollow block, PT.X used FAS (X1), bottom ash (X2) and fine aggregate (X3) with details of the level of FAS (0.4; 0.5; 0.6), Bottom ash (4 parts; 5 parts; 6 parts) and fine aggregate (3 parts; 2 parts: 1 part). The previous research conducted by Damaris (2011) with the results of the optimal level of FAS 0.4, bottom ash 5 parts and fine aggregate 2 parts. The optimum level from Damaris (2011) resulted in the value of desirability for model a is 0.90; models b and models c are 0.87 and 0.85. Research using desirability function and the fuzzy regression approach generally produce greater desirability values for the three models. They are 0.91 for the model a; 0.95 for models b and to 0.76 models c. Model c chosen as recommendation to the company with optimal level of FAS 0,42, bottom ash 5,3 parts and fine aggregate 1,8 parts. Model c is able to save on production cost by 54 rupiah per hollow block.
