Abstract

Palet kayu merupakan limbah dari pabrik yang sering tidak digunakan setelah proses pengiriman barang. Palet yang sudah tidak terpakai dimanfaatkan kembali sebagai bahan pembuatan meja, kursi dan almari. Proses pembuatan meja, kursi dan almari terdiri dari pembentukan model, pemasrahan kayu, perakitan dan pewarnaan. Proses pemasrahan itu sendiri memerlukan waktu yang lama dan tingkat kerataan yang sama .Oleh karena itu dirancang mesin pemasrah kayu untuk memepercepat proses produksi. Langkah-langkah dalam pembuatan mesin meliputi Observasi dan Studi Literatur kemudian menetapkan konsep serta melakukan perencanaan. Setelah perencanaan selesai kemudian dilakukanupembuatan komponen sesuai dengan perencanaan dan konsep mesin yang kemudian dirakit sesuai desain.Hasil dari perencanaan dan perhitungan “Rancang Bangun Mesin Pasrah dan Amplas Kayu” didapatkan daya motor 1HP.============= Wooden palettes are industrial garbage that often not use after delivery goods. The unused palette is reused as table-making materials, chairs and cupboards. Process to make the table, chair and cupboard consist of making sketch, shave wood, assembling and coloring. The process of shave wood itself, need a long time and the same level of flatness. Therefore, it is designed a wooden shaver machine to speed up the process of production. The steps to make this machine are observation and literature studies then set the concept and do the planning. After the planning is done, the next step is making of components based on the planning and machine’s concept and then assembled according to the design. From planning and calculation of the "Buid and Design of Wooden Shaver and Wooden Sandpaper Machine", the results are motor powers 1HP.
