Abstract

Sebuah motor induksi aksial yang telah dibuat sebelumnya
dijadikan sebagai referensi pengerjaan tugas akhir ini. Jika dibandingkan
dengan motor induksi aksial secara umum performa motor ini masih
kurang memuaskan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pemodelan secara kusus
dalam menjelaskan kurangnya performa dari motor tersebut.
Buku tugas akhir ini akan menganalisa hal tersebut dengan
metode 3D finite element dan menggunakan software 3D FEM seperti
EM Solidwork, CST, atau ANSYS Maxwell. Dan dari hasil simulasi
program tersebut akan diberikan penjelasan dan solusi sebagai referensi
pengembangan motor induksi aksial berikutnya

An axial induction motor which is assembled by previous final
project has been chosen becoming the reference for this book.
Comparing with other axial induction motor, generally, the mechanical
and electrical characteristic of this motor is not showing good
performance. Therefore, it needs a specific modeling to describe why
this lack of performance happened.
This final project will analyze this fact with 3D finite-element
method by using 3D FEM software such as EM Solidwork, CST, or
ANSYS Maxwell. And from the result of the simulation, it will not only
be explained but also will be given solution to overcome better
performance as reference and development in the next axial induction
motor.
