Abstract
Proteksi pada sistem kelistrikan untuk mengamankan suatu peralatan listrik memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Sistem proteksi memiliki fungsi untuk mendeteksi gangguan hubung singkat dan dapat mencegah peralatan listrik mengalami kerusakan akibat gangguan. Sistem proteksi ini perlu koordinasi yang baik agar sistem bekerja secara handal. PLTGU PJB Muara Karang Blok I merupakan salah satu komplek pembangkit yang sangat vital di Jakarta. Apabila terjadi gangguan pada sistem kelistrikan, maka aliran listrik di daerah Jakarta khususnya objek vital di daerah tersebut akan terganggu jika pemilihan proteksi tidak tepat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan studi analisis dan evaluasi terhadap pengaman sistem. Tugas akhir ini akan membahas tentang analisis dan evaluasi rele pengaman pada PLTGU PJB Muara Karang Blok I. Pembahasan akan berfokus pada setting koordinasi rele arus lebih fasa dan rele arus lebih ground yang tepat. Dari hasil analisis koordinasi proteksi kurva rele pengaman eksisting dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat setting pick up dan pemilihan time dial yang masih harus dikoordinasikan dengan baik, sehingga pada kurva rele pengaman eksisting masih terdapat grading time yang tidak sesuai dengan standar pembukaan CB, sehingga memungkinkan rele utama dan rele backup bekerja secara bersamaan. Pada kurva rele arus lebih ground eksisting masih menggunakan kurva invers sehingga disarankan untuk melakukan resetting dan mengganti dengan kurva waktu instan (definite time).
================= Protection of electrical systems to secure an electrical apparatus has a very important role. The protection system has a function to detect short circuit faults and may prevent electrical equipment from being damaged by interference. This protection system needs good coordination for the system to work reliably. PLTGU PJB Muara Karang Block I is one of the most vital power plant in Jakarta. In the event of a disruption to the electrical system, the flow of electricity in the Jakarta area, especially in the vital objects of the area will be disrupted if the selection of protection is not appropriate. Therefore, it is necessary to study the analysis and evaluation of system protection. This final project will discuss about the analysis and evaluation of protection at PLTGU PJB Muara Karang Block I. The discussion will focus on setting coordination of phase overcurrent and ground fault. From the coordination analysis of existing curve protection, it can be seen that there is a pick up setting and time dial selection which must be coordinated well, so that on the existing safety relay curve there is grading time that is not in accordance with the CB opening standard, thus allowing major releases and rele backups work simultaneously. In the current overcurrent curve curve still uses the inverse curve so it is advisable to reset and replace with an instant time curve (definite time).
