Abstract

============ Utilization of electrical energy in Kalimantan
Island was growing, then capacity of generator with the load must be balanced. To achieve this, PLN plans the
development of a master plan 500 kV electrical system Kalimantan. The plans develop a backbone transmission system that connects the provinces of West Kalimantan
, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, and North Kalimantan. With the occurrence of development, then required power system analysis.
In this final project, transient stability analysis will be done using TDS (Time Domain Simulation)
generated by generator outage and short circuit at bus masterplan 500 kV Kalimantan. The goal is to know the response of rotor angle, voltage, and frequency on the system. The results show that, when the generator outage system disruption loses power supply from total of generating from 2023-2050 as much as 5,78%. In the event of short-circuit bus interruption at bus and one of double circuit line 500 kV can be recovered in steady state
conditions.
