Abstract

Pada sistem transmisi, sistem proteksi diharuskan memiliki selektifitas yang tinggi dalam mengamankan gangguannya. Hal ini dikarenakan jika terjadi kesalahan trip, akan menimbulkan dampak kerugian yang besar baik pada sisi beban maupun sumber. Sistem backbone 275 kV Kalimantan menginterkoneksikan 3 area yaitu Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Selatan dan Tengah serta Kalimantan Timur dan Utara dengan operasi transmisi 275 kV. Pada sistem ini, digunakan dua rele utama sebagai proteksinya yaitu rele jarak sebagai proteksi di bagian penghantar dan rele diferensial sebagai proteksi di bagian gardu induk penghubung 275 kV. Pada Tugas Akhir ini akan dilakukan analisis hubung singkat untuk perhitungan setting proteksi rele jarak dan rele diferensial dengan data-data sistem backbone 275 kV Kalimantan. Pembahasan yang dilakukan meliputi perhitungan pengklasifikasian panjang saluran penghantar, pemilihan pola proteksi penghantar, serta perhitungan setting rele jarak dan rele diferensial. Hasil analisis dan perhitungan akan digunakan sebagai referensi dan rekomendasi untuk menentukan setting proteksi pada sistem transmisi yang tepat. Berdasarkan perhitungan dan analisis yang telah dilakukan, perhitungan setting proteksi pada rele jarak dan penentuan pickup Idiff dan slope pada rele diferensial sudah tepat karena selektif dalam mengamankan gangguan pada zona proteksinya.
============== In the transmission system, the protection system is required to have high selectivity in securing the electrical disturbance. This is because if a false tripping occurs, will cause a large loss of impact both on the load side and source. Kalimantan 275 kV backbone system interconnect 3 areas of West Kalimantan, South and Central Kalimantan, and East and North Kalimantan with 275 kV transmission operation. In this system, two major releases are used as protection, which is distance relay as protection at the line and differential relay as protection at the substation of 275 kV connecting substation. In this Final Project will be conducted short circuit analysis for calculation of distance relay protection and differential relay with 275 kV backbone Kalimantan data. Discussion includes calculation of channel length classification, selection of line protection scheme, and calculation of distance relay and differential relay setting. The results of the analysis and calculation will be used as reference and recommendation to determine the protection setting on transmission. Based on calculations and analyzes that have been done, the calculation of protection settings on the distance relay and determination of Idiff and slope pickup is correct because it is selective in securing the disturbance in its zone.
