Abstract
================= Kalimantan has an important role in economic system that needs huge electricity power. Therefore, Kalimantan needs to planned to add 500kV AC / DC transmission line from 2027-2050. Kalimantan transmission system is a large system so vulnerable to stability disturbances. Therefore, the study of dynamic stability on the bus 500kV AC / DC to know the stability of the system. The system is connected with AC and HVDC transmission line. On AC buses are used for power transfer from East and North Kalimantan to South Kalimantan. DC bus for power transfer from South and Central Kalimantan to West Kalimantan. The study of power stability on this system use Modal Analysis method. Simulation results due to the addition of load and power generation each year is stable in 2027 with eigenvalue -0.081 + j4,669, frequency 0.743 Hz, and the smallest attenuation ratio 1.7%.
