Abstract

Keandalan suatu sistem transmisi dipengaruhi oleh performa dari peralatan dan spesifikasinya. Pada sistem transmisi HVDC, peralatan yang penting seperti trafo konverter, thyristor valves, smoothing reactor, suplai daya reaktif dan HVDC disconnector harus ditentukan spesifikasinya dengan tepat sesuai sistem agar sistem transmisi HVDC bisa tetap stabil. Namun, peralatan lain yang ada di sistem transmisi seperti pemutus daya, surge arrester, busbar, konduktor dan isolator sangat berperan penting dalam penyaluran daya dan perlindungan sistem transmisi HVDC. Jumlah dan spesifikasi peralatan tersebut ditentukan sesuai dengan tipe saluran yang digunakan dalam sistem transmisi HVDC. Tipe saluran yang digunakan pada studi ini adalah tipe monopolar. Sedangkan pemilihan tipe saluran dan permodelan sistem transmisi HVDC harus dipertimbangkan sesuai dengan tujuan pembuatan sistem transmisi HVDC tersebut. Studi ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan spesifikasi peralatan dari sistem transmisi HVDC 500 kV Kalimantan. Penentuan spesifikasi didasarkan dari data simulasi aliran daya dan simulasi hubung singkat. Didapatkan arus hubung singkat sebesar 45 kA pada sisi AC dan 140 kA pada sisi DC, maka circut breaker yang dipakai adalah dengan rating 63 kA pada sisi AC dan 170 kA pada sisi DC. Trafo konverter, thyristor valves, smoothing reactor dan HVDC disonnector ditentukan berdasarkan level tegangan sistem dan arus nominal pada sistem. Untuk konduktor dan busbar ditentukan berdasarkan arus nominalnya. Sedangkan surge arrester dan isolator ditentukan berdasarkan level tegangannya. ================= The reliability of a transmission system is influenced by the performance of the equipment and its specifications. In HVDC transmission systems, critical equipment such as converter transformers, thyristor valves, smoothing reactors, reactive power supplies, and HVDC disconnector shall be specified precisely according to the system in order for the HVDC transmission system to remain stable. However, other equipment in transmission systems such as circuit breakers, surge arresters, busbars, conductors, and insulators play an important role in power transfer and protection of HVDC transmission systems. The number and specifications of the equipment are determined according to the type of line used in the HVDC transmission system. The type of line used in this study is a monopolar type. While selecting the line type and modeling of the HVDC transmission system should be considered in accordance with the purpose of making the HVDC transmission system. This study aims to plan the equipment specifications of the HVDC 500 kV transmission Kalimantan system. Determination of specification is based on simulation data of power flow and short circuit simulation. There is a short circuit current of 45 kA on the AC side and 140 kA on the DC side, then the circuit breaker used is rated 63 kA on the AC side and 170 kA on the DC side. The converter transformer, thyristor valves, smoothing reactor and HVDC disconnector are determined based on the system voltage level and nominal current on the system. For the conductor and busbar is determined based on nominal current. While surge arrester and isolator is determined based on its voltage level.
