Abstract

PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia (PT. JCI) merupakan salah satu perusahaan pakan ternak dengan tingkat produksi tinggi. Perkembangan usaha dan organisasi perusahaan akan sangat bergantung pada produktivitas karyawan yang ada dalam perusahaan. Pada tahun 2017 perusahaan mengalami penurunan produktivitas tenaga kerja. Prosentase produktivitas tenaga kerja tertinggi dicapai pada bulan april sebesar 73,53%, dan paling rendah terjadi pada bulan oktober yakni sebesar 38,89%. Rata-rata produktivitas tenaga kerja selama satu tahun sebesar 53,62%. Produktivitas tenaga kerja di PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia cukup rendah, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa belum optimalnya kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan agar dapat menganalisis pengaruh-pengaruh produktivitas tenaga kerja serta upaya peningkatannya. Produktivitas tenaga kerja dikendalikan oleh beberapa variabel indikator yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja, yaitu kompetensi, motivasi, iklim kerja, metode kerja, peralatan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja. Metode penelitian analisis produktivitas tenaga kerja menggunakan pendekatan SMART-PLS. SMART-PLS merupakan analisis persamaan struktural berbasis varian yang secara simultan dapat melakukan pengujian model pengukuran sekaligus model pengujian struktural. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompetensi, motivasi, dan peralatan kerja yang dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas tenaga kerja itu sendiri, dengan nilai masing-masing adalah, 0,274; 0,337; 0,197. Variabel yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan adalah kompetensi dan metode kerja. Dengan meningkatkan kompetensi, dan motivasi dapat meningkatkan produktivitas tenaga kerja di PT. Business and organization development of the company will depend on the labor productivity in the company. In 2017 the company experienced a decrease in labor productivity. The highest percentage of labor productivity was achieved in April at 73.53%, and the lowest was in October at 38.89%. Average labor productivity for one year amounted to 53.62%. Labor productivity in PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia is quite low, this indicates that not yet optimal employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effects of labor productivity and efforts to improve it. Labor productivity is controlled by several indicator variables that can affect the performance, which consist of competence, motivation, work climate, work methods, work equipment, and job satisfaction. Research method of labor productivity analysis using SMART-PLS approach. SMART-PLS is an analysis of variance-based structural equations that can simultaneously perform testing of measurement models as well as structural testing models. The results showed that the competence, motivation, and work equipment variables can affect the productivity of labor itself, with the value of each is, 0.274; 0.337; 0.197. The variables that affect employee job satisfaction are the competence and working methods. By improving competence, and motivation can improve labor productivity at PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia.
