Abstract
UiO-66, Zn-UiO-66 dan Al-MCM-41-Zn-UiO-66 telah berhasil disintesis dengan metode solvotermal dalam pelarut N-N’-dimetilformamida (DMF) pada suhu 120 °C selama 24 jam. Massa Al-MCM-41 terhadap Zn-UiO-66 divariasi sebesar 10, 20, 45 dan 90%, dan padatan yang dihasilkan beturut-turut dinotasikan sebagai AlM(10)-Zn-UiO-66, AlM(20)-Zn-UiO-66, AlM(45)-Zn-UiO-66 dan AlM(90)-Zn-UiO-66. Spektra FTIR padatan hasil sintesis menunjukkan pita serapan pada bilangan gelombang sekitar 1550-1630 dan 1450-1580 cm-1, serta pita serapan kuat pada 1400 cm-1, yang merupakan pita serapan karakteristik UiO-66 referensi. Pita serapan karakteristik Al-MCM-41 tetap teramati pada Al-MCM-41-Zn-UiO-66, yang serapannya semakin kuat seiring dengan peningkatan massa Al-MCM-41 yang ditambahkan. Pola difraktogram semua padatan hasil sintesis menunjukkan puncak karakteristik pada 2θ sekitar 7,4 dan 8,5°, yang sama dengan UiO-66 referensi. Padatan AlM(45)-Zn-UiO-66 memiliki luas permukaan spesifik dan stabilitas termal masing-masing 440,8 m2/g dan 550 °C, lebih tinggi dari luas permukaan spesifik dan stabilitas termal Zn-UiO-66 (298,8 m2/g dan 510 °C). Hasil pengujian aktivitas AlM(45)-Zn-UiO-66 sebagai katalis pada reaksi esterifikasi asam oleat menunjukkan konversi sebesar 61 %, lebih tinggi dari penggunaan katalis Zn-UiO-66 (39%). Nilai konversi tertinggi sebesar 71% dicapai pada penggunaan katalis AlM(90)-Zn-UiO-66.

UiO-66, Zn-UiO-66 and Al-MCM-41-Zn-UiO-66 has been synthesized by solvothermal method using N-N’-dimethylformamide (DMF) as solvent at temperature 120 °C for 24 hours. The amount of Al-MCM-41 added during the synthesis process was varied at 10; 20; 45 and 90% toward the mass of Zn-UiO-66, and the obtained were notated as AlM(10)-Zn-UiO-66, AlM(20)-Zn-UiO-66, AlM(45)-Zn-UiO-66 and AlM(90)-Zn-UiO-66. FTIR spectra of materials showed characteristics peaks at wavenumbers 1550-1630 and 1450-1580 cm-1 as well as strong absorption bands showed characteristic peaks UiO-66 reference at 1400 cm-1. Al-MCM-41 characteristic absorption bands remain observed on Al-MCM-41-Zn-UiO-66, characteristic absorption bands stronger as the increased Al-MCM-41 mass is added. Difractogram of materials had same characteristic peak with UiO-66 reference exhibited at 2Ɵ = 7,4 and 8,5°. The surface area of AlM(45)-Zn-UiO-66 that was 440,8 m2/g and stable up to 550 °C, the surface area was higher than Zn-UiO-66 (290,8 m2/g and stable up to 510 °C). The results of the AlM(45)-Zn-UiO-66 activities catalysts in the esterification of oleic acid showed a conversion 61%, the conversion higher than Zn-UiO-66 (39%). The highest conversion 71% was achieved with AlM(90)-Zn-UiO-66 catalyst.
