Abstract

Terdapat 3 standar kualitas pada GKP (Gula Kristal Putih) di PG Rejo Agung Baru, yaitu kadar air (%), warna larutan (IU), dan besar jenis butir (mm). Asumsi yang harus dipenuhi untuk menggunakan diagram kendali adalah data berdistribusi normal dan independen. Namun tidak semua data yang dikendalikan memenuhi asumsi tersebut, penyebabnya adalah terdapat autokorelasi. Autokorelasi antar pengamatan menyebabkan munculnya false alarm. Pendekatan yang dapat dilakukan adalah menggunakan pendekatan residual dari model time series. Karakteristik kualitas GKP saling berkorelasi maka diagram kendali yang tepat dalam penelitian ini adalah diagram kendali MEWMV dan MEWMA. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam pengendalian variabilitas proses adalah dengan menggunakan bobot optimum ω=0.4 dan λ=0.2 variabilitas proses belum terkendali. Sedangkan untuk mean proses dengan pembobot optimum λ=0.1 proses belum terkendali secara statistik. Faktor penyebab ketidaksesuaian dalam proses produksi dipengaruhi oleh faktor pekerja, mesin, dan metode. Indeks kapabilitas proses yang diperoleh adalah sebesar nilai MPp dan MPpk kurang dari 1 yaitu masing-masing sebesar 0.528 dan -0.495. ============= There are 3 quality standards in GKP, moisture (%), color of solution (IU), and grain type (mm). The three characteristics of these qualities are correlated. In the process of quality control using control chart, the basic assumption that must be met is the data has a normal distribution and independent. However, not all data meet these assumptions, the cause is there autocorrelation in observation data. Autocorrelation between observations will lead to the emergence of many false alarms. An approach that can be done if there is autocorrelation in the data is to use the residual approach of the time series model on the control chart. Quality characteristics of GKP are correlated, the control chart used in this research is MEWMV and MEWMA control chart. The results obtained in the process variability control is by using the optimum weight ω = 0.4 and λ = 0.2 there are still 5 observations that are out of control. While for the mean process with optimum weighting λ = 0.1 the process has not been statistically controlled. Factors causing non-conformance in GKP production process are influenced by workers, raw materials, measurement, machinery, and methods. The process capability index obtained is MPp and MPpk value less than 1 that is 0.528 and -0.495.
