Abstract
Industri dihadapkan terhadap tantangan dari segi kualitas dan kuantitas. Industri diharuskan dapat memenuhi permintaan produk yang semakin meningkat, serta menjamin kualitas mutu yang baik secara konsisten. Untuk menjawab hal tersebut dibutuhkan suatu sistem otomasi Industri, yaitu sistem yang dapat menggantikan peran manusia dalam proses produksi barang. Terdapat beberapa tahapan secara umum dalam proses produksi barang. Dimulai penyortiran bahan baku (primer), pemrosesan barang dari bentuk primer menjadi barang siap pakai, hingga pengepakan. Seluruh tahapan dapat dijalankan secara otomatis menggunakan mesin yang telah terprogram dengan Programable Logic Control (PLC). Tahapan proses di Industri dapat direpresentasikan dengan perangkat Factory Automatic Trainer (FAT). Konstruksi pemrograman PLC dengan bahasa pemrograman Ladder Diagram yang sesuai dapat menjalankan kinerja FAT mirip proses pada Industri. Penggunaan Metode Sequence chart untuk konstruksi Ladder Diagram memudahkan pembacaan langkah kerja pada FAT. Jumlah rung hasil konstruksi Ladder Diagram adalah 70 rung dengan kapasitas 196 Byte

Industry is faced with challenges in terms of quality and quantity. The dihets industry can meet the growing demand for products, and ensure consistent good quality. To answer these things required industrial automation system, which is a system that can provide a role in the production process of goods. What is done generally in the production process of goods. Material distributing materials (primary), raw materials from the form into ready-made goods, to packing. All can be done automatically using a programmed machine with Programmable Logic Control (PLC). Stages of the process in Industry can be represented by Factory Automatic Trainer (FAT) device. The construction of PLC programming with Ladder Ladder Language The corresponding diagram can perform FAT performance like a process in the Industry. The use of Sequence chart Method for Ladder Diagram construction facilitates the reading of work steps on FAT. The number of the rung is 70. The result of the construction of Ladder Diagram is 196 Byte
