Abstract

Regency is a physical proof of development that comply one of human basic needs. The improvement of road access in East Surabaya area makes property developers built Sukolilo Park Regency. Alteration of the land function that formerly used as pond area into housing and inadequate drainage conditions makes the study location still gets flooded. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to redesign the drainage system by evaluating the existing channel.
The analysis conducted in this final project is hydrology analysis to get flood discharge plan and hydraulic analysis to evaluate between existing channel discharge and discharge plan. To calculate rainfall plan using Normal method, Log Normal, Log Pearson III, and Gumbel. The results of rain data processing obtained by the selected parameters test method is Normal method with 5 years of rainfall 127.981 mm. Thus, after conducting capacity control, the results show that the existing channels are unable to drain flood discharge plan so new channels will be planned along with the analysis of pond and water pump.
Based on the results of the hydrology analysis, the rainfall plan with a 5 year period is 127.981 mm. The existing channel capacity is not able to drain flood discharge plan so new channels using U-ditch are planned. The largest U-ditch dimension for tertiary channels is 1.0 meters x 1.2 meters while for the secondary channels is 1.0 meters x 1.2 meters. Dimensions of existing pond is 50.35 meters x 175.5 meters with a depth of 1.38 meters. The operation of the pond is planned using flood gates and pumps with a capacity of 0.139 m3/sec and 0.100 m3/sec. Therefore, the flood problem can be solved.
