Abstract
Sebagai kota besar bukan berarti setiap wilayah Surabaya harus menjadi kawasan wisata dan destinasi. Setiap wilayah kota memiliki fungsinya masing masing. Namun tidak memiliki fungsi wisata bukan berarti infrastruktur suatu wilayah tidak perlu diperhatikan. Wilayah perbatasan Surabaya barat (benowo) tidak memiliki area wisata yang menarik, sampai pertengahan 2017 tidak memiliki taman satupun, infrastruktur kota kurang dan akses jalan sangan minim, dan menjadi wilayah yang tidak dikenal sebagai apapun selain tempat pembuangan sampah akhir.
Konsep kota Humanis mengarahkan respon arsitektur agar memperhatikan manusia sebagai perhatian utama. Tujuan akhir pada desain berfokus pada arsitektur yang meningkatkan infrastruktur wilayah benowo perbatasan kota Surabaya dan Kabupaten Gresik. Namun arsitektur tetap mengintegrasikan hubungan bangunan, ruang terbuka hijau dan kebutuhan masyarakat sekitar. Privasi dalam desain ini menjadi poin yang sangat penting karena pertemuan antara penghuni dan pengunjung tiap hari akan mempengaruhi personal space masing – masing orang. Programatik fasilitas dan ruang harus menjadi sangat fleksibel untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi masyarakat sekitar juga. =================================================================== As a big city in Indonesia, it does not mean every region of Surabaya should be a tourist and destination area. Every city area has its own function, but it does not mean that the infrastructure of area which didn’t have a tourism function does not need to be considered. The edge of the west region of Surabaya (benowo) does not have an attractive tourist area, until mid-2017 there was no city garden, lacking in city infrastructure and minimal roads access, and become an area known as nothing other than the final landfills.
The humanist city concept directs the architecture response to focus their attention to humans as the main concern. The main design purpose is to focus on architecture that improves the infrastructure of the border of Surabaya and Gresik area. However, the architecture still integrates the relationship between buildings, green open space and the surrounding communities needs. Privacy in the design is a very important point because the meetings between residents and visitors every day will affect of each person personal space. Facilities programming and space must be very flexible to provide comfort for the surrounding community as well.
