Abstract
PT X melakukan pengendalian kualitas mulai dari pembibitan DOC hingga proses akhir secara ketat namun selama ini perusahaan belum melakukan pengendalian kualitas lebih jauh menggunakan metode statistik. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan analisis pengendalian kualitas secara statistik terhadap proses penetasan telur ayam menggunakan peta kendali p multiatribut karena tiga jenis kecacatan telur yang terjadi, yaitu abnormal, retak, dan pecah saling berkorelasi satu sama lain sehingga pengendalian kualitasnya dilakukan secara simultan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kandang 1 dan 3 merupakan kandang yang paling bermasalah sehingga monitoring kualitas difokuskan pada telur yang berasal dari kedua kandang tersebut. Peta kendali p multiatribut fase I menunjukkan bahwa proses penetasan telur yang berasal dari kedua kandang tersebut belum terkendali secara statistik. Setelah diperoleh peta kendali fase I yang sudah in control, ternyata batas kendali yang diperoleh menunjukkan pergeseran proses yang semakin buruk pada fase II. Artinya, kecacatan telur yang terjadi pada fase II mengalami peningkatan dari periode sebelumnya. Dari hasil identifikasi diketahui bahwa abnormalitas merupakan jenis cacat yang memberikan kontribusi terbesar terhadap kecacatan telur yang mengakibatkan proses penetasan telur ayam tidak terkendali secara statistik.

PT X perform quality control from DOC seeding to end of the process strictly yet hasn’t been applied any statistical methods for quality control. The analysis of statistical quality control for the eggs hatching process is performed using p multi-attributes control chart. Since there are three types of defected eggs (abnormal, cracked, and broken) which are significantly correlated to one and another, the analysis of quality control is undertaken simultaneously. The results of the analysis show that cage 1 and 3 are the most problematic cages, hence the analysis is focused on both cages. The p multi-attributes control chart on phase I shows that the hatching process of the eggs gathered from both cages has not been statistically controlled. After the control chart on phase I is obtained, the control limit shows that there is a shifting process on phase II. The quality process on phase II is worse than phase I; the defected eggs produced on phase II has increased from the previous period. The cause of defected eggs has been identified and it suggests that the most contributive defects type causing the statistically uncontrolled eggs hatching process is abnormal eggs.
