Abstract

Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) 2017, impor Sodium Chloride di Indonesia mengalami kenaikan. Perkiraan kebutuhan impor Sodium Chloride pada tahun 2021 sebesar 1.932.416,678 ton/tahun. Semakin besarnya impor Sodium Chloride di Indonesia memberikan peluang untuk mendirikan pabrik Sodium Chloride.
Proses pembuatan Sodium Chloride dibagi menjadi tiga tahap. Tahap pertama yaitu pre-treatment dimana bahan baku yang digunakan berupa garam rakyat dengan kandungan NaCl 92,8% dilarutkan dengan air hingga konsentrasi menjadi 24%. Tahap kedua yaitu tahap pemasakan di evaporator dan kristalisasi di vacuum pan crystallizer. Tahap yang ketiga yaitu tahap pengendalian produk. Pada tahap ini terdiri atas proses penghalusan, pengayakan dan pengemasan. Sodium Chloride yang dihasilkan mengandung NaCl dengan kadar 99,99%.
Pabrik Sodium Chloride yang akan didirikan memiliki kapasitas 97.000 ton/tahun bekerja secara kontinyu dan beroperasi selama 330 hari/tahun. Bahan baku garam rakyat yang dibutuhkan sebesar 95.543 ton/tahun. Pabrik Sodium Chloride berencana didirikan di Sampang, Madura. Sodium Chloride umumnya digunakan pada industri pulp, farmasi, makanan, dan lain-lain.

Based on data from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) 2017, import of Sodium Chloride in Indonesia have increased. The estimation necessary of Sodium Chloride at 2021 is 1.932.416,678 ton/year. The greater of import Sodium Chloride in Indonesia give opportunities to build Sodium Chloride plant.
The procces to make Sodium Chloride divided by three steps. The first step is pre-treatment, the raw material which is used public salt by the concentration of NaCl 92,8% is dissolved by water until the concentration become 24%. The second step is evaporation dan crystallization in vacuum pan crystallizer. The third step is step for size reduction. In this step consist of crushing, screening, and packaging. Sodium chloride which is production has concentration NaCl 99,99%.
Sodium Chloride plant which will build has capacity 97000 ton/year, operate continue for 330 days/year. Raw material which is needed is 95.543 ton/year. Sodium Chloride plant will build at Sampang, Madura. Sodium Chloride is used for pulp, pharmacy, food plant, and etc.
