Abstract
PT. Sinar Angkasa Rungkut adalah salah satu produsen lampu terkemuka di Indonesia yang memproduksi lampu lisktrik merek Chiyoda.Lampu pijar tipe PS 47 merupakan salah satu jenis lampu pijar yang masih diproduksi hampir setiap hari sampai saat ini dengan tingkat penjualannya yang cukup tinggi. Salah satu ukuran kualitas lampu pijar tipe PS 47 adalah pada bola lampu (bulb). Kualitas lampu di perusahaan ini hanya ditentukan berdsarkan variabel kualitas bulb yang telah sesuai dengan spesifikasi tanpa adanya pengendalian kualitas secara statistik. Pada penelitian ini digunakan diagram kendali Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Variance (MEWMV) dengan pengamatan individual untuk mendeteksi perubahan variabilitas proses. Sementara itu,monitoring rata-rata proses produksi dilakukan dengan menggunakan diagram kendali Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (MEWMA). Variabel kualitas bulb yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rata tebal leher minimum dan rata diameter leher. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa variabilitas proses telah terkendali secara statistik dengan menggunakan pembobot optimum ω = 0,7 dan λ = 0,9. Sementara itu untuk rata-rata proses belum terkendali secara statistik dengan menggunakan nilai pembobot optimum λ= 0,9. Variabel utama penyebab pengamatan yang berada diluar batas kendali pada rata-rata proses adalah rata tebal leher minimum. Kapabilitas proses menggunakan indeks MPpk menunjukkan bahwa proses telah kapabel. Nilai MPpk sebesar 1,14 menunjukkan bahwa presisi dan akurasi proses telah baik.

PT. Sinar Angkasa Rungkut is one of the leading lighting manufacturers in Indonesia producing electric lights of Chiyoda. Fluorescent lamp type PS 47 is one of fluorescent lampwhich the company still produces almost every day until today. One of the main quality measures of fluorescent lamp type PS 47 is the quality of its bulb. Quality of the fluorescent lamp in this company is only determined by whetherthe quality characteristic of its bulb is within the specificationn limits without any statistical-based quality control. In this study, the analysis is undertaken using Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Variance (MEWMV) control charts with individual observations to detect changes in process variability. Meanwhile, the average monitoring of production process is performed using Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (MEWMA) control chart.The bulb quality variable used in this researchare the average of minimum neck thickness and the average of neck diameter. The results suggest that the process variability is statistically controlled with the optimum weight ω = 0.7 and λ = 0.9. However, process mean is notstatistically controlled yet with optimum weight λ = 0,9. The main variable causes some observationsare still out of control on the mean process is the minimum thickness of the neck. Process capability is using MPpk index that shows the processis already capable. MPpk value of 1.14 indicates that the precision and accuracy of the process is good.
