Abstract

==============================================================
Wireless Technology has been developed and installed on
telecommunication device. This Technology allows a moving
device to transmit data to other moving devices in a network. The
infrastructure of such network is not fixed and called as Mobile
Ad-Hoc Network (MANET).
Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is a network consists of
wireless nodes that can be configured anywhere and anytime
without using fixed network infrastructure and central data
administration. But, MANET is still hard to be implemented in real
devices. Therefore, this study is done by using a simulator. The
simulator used for the study of MANET is known as Network
Simulator (NS).
The purpose of this final project is to identify performance
of Nakagami and TwoRayGround transmission model on
Destination Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV) routing protocol
on MANET. The MANET schemes are generated by nodemovement
and traffic-pattern files that are already distributed in
Network Simulator which is NS-2. There are three performance
results: Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), End-to-End Delay (E2D),
dan Routing Overhead (RO).
