Abstract
Sektor pariwisata di Indonesia memegang peranan penting dalam ekonomi nasional dan merupakan sumber penghasilan yang signifikan. Agrowisata sangat penting bagi masyarakat pedesaan dan perkotaan. Sektor pariwisata di Provinsi Jawa Timur masih perlu dikembangkan supaya menghindari menjadi sebuah daerah transit, tetapi destinasi utama bagi para wisatawan. Rosa damascena, lebih dikenal sebagai Damask rose, adalah mawar hibrida, berasal dari Rosa gallica dan Rosa moschata. Bunga ini terkenal dengan fragnansi yang sangat baik, dan dijual secara komersial kepada industri minyak mawar dan produksi air mawar dan teh mawar. Proyek ini merupakan upaya mengembangkan pusat agrowisata mawar di Batu sebagai obyek wisata baru, menggunakan modern concept-based desain dan cocok untuk small-dan-medium business. Obyek wisata ini terdiri dari empat belas gedung low-rise, iaitu restoran, gedung pameran, gedung perkantoran dan fasilitas villa.

The tourism sector in Indonesia plays an important part in the national economy and it is a significant source of income. Agrotourism is very important for rural and urban communities. The tourism sector in East Java Province still needs to be improved in order to avoid being a transit area, but a primary destination for the tourists. Rose damascena, better known as Damask rose, is a hybrid rose, derived from Rosa gallica and Rosa moschata.
This flower is famous for its excellent fragrance, and is sold commercially to the rose oil industry and rose water and tea production. This project is an attempt to develop an rose agrotourism center in Batu as a new tourism attraction, using modern, concept-based design and it`s suitable for small-and-medium business. It consists of fourteen low-rise buildings - a restaurant, an exhibition hall, an office building and villa facilities.
