Abstract

Kesibukan masyarakat kota Surabaya semakin meningkat. Dengan terusnya meningkat kesibukan, waktu untuk menjaga kesehatan semakin berkurang padahal masyarakat makin sadar akan pentingnya hidup sehat. Pusat kebugaran menjadi sebuah solusi bagi masyarakat untuk berolahraga ditengah kesibukan sehari-hari namun banyak pusat kebugaran yang didominasi anggota pria. Wanita memiliki keinginan dan kecenderungan yang berbeda ketika berolahraga, namun karena kebanyakan pusat kebugaran didominasi anggota pria, wanita merasa kurang nyaman ketika berolahraga di pusat kebugaran pada umumnya. Hawa Gym merupakan waralaba pusat fitness khusus perempuan yang hanya menerima anggota perempuan. Meskipun sudah menyediakan privasi, desain interior Hawa Gym belum didesain sesuai kebutuhan wanita. Desain interior Hawa Gym juga belum maksimal mencerminkan corporate image untuk mewujudkan visinya menjadi ikon pusat kebugaran di Indonesia. Perencanaan desain interior pada Hawa Gym Surabaya ini berdasarkan observasi objek desain, studi banding dengan pusat kebugaran lain, wawancara pihak Hawa Gym, studi literatur mengenai standarisasi pusat kebugaran, identifikasi selera wanita pengguna pusat kebugaran dan analisa kebutuhan wanita dalam berolahraga. Berdasarkan metodologi tersebut, konsep yang didapatkan adalah desain interior modern dengan memanfaatkan warna korporat Hawa Gym pada desain elemen interior. Desain modern memberi kenyamanan pada pengguna dengan sifatnya yang simple, bersih dan fungsional sedangkan memanfaatkan warna korporat akan menanamkan warna korporat sebagai branding Hawa Gym dan membentuk Hawa Gym sebagai sebuah ikon pusat kebugaran yang mudah dikenal. Fasilitas disesuaikan dengan kecenderungan wanita yang berolahraga bergrup dengan menyediakan lebih banyak kelas olahraga grup. Pengolahan bentuk memanfaatkan banyak garis melengkung untuk memberikan kesan lembut pada desain namun tetap menjaga intensitas pada ruang olahraga yang membutuhkan suasana olahraga dengan intensitas tinggi. Dengan beberapa konsep diatas kemudian disusun sebuah konsep perencanaan yakni desain interior Hawa Gym Surabaya sebagai pusat kebugaran wanita bernuansa modern agar menciptakan Hawa Gym sebagai ikon pusat kebugaran wanita di Indonesia yang sesuai dan memenuhi kebutuhan wanita dalam berolahraga. ===============================================================================================The bustle of Surabaya city community is increasing. With the continuous increase in busyness, time to exercise in order to maintain health is decreasing even though the community is more aware of the importance of healthy living. Fitness centers are becoming a solution for people to exercise in the midst of everyday busyness, but many gym patrons and members are predominantly male. Women have different desires and inclinations when exercising, but because most gyms are male dominated, many women feel less comfortable when exercising at a gym in general. Hawa Gym is a womens-only fitness center franchise that only accepts female members. Despite providing privacy, the interior design of Hawa Gym has not been designed to suit the needs of women. Also, the interior design of Hawa Gym has not been maximized to reflect the corporate image of Hawa Gym to realize its vision of being the icon of womens fitness center in Indonesia. Interior design planning at Hawa Gym Surabaya is based on object design observation, comparative study with other fitness centers, Hawa Gym party interviews, literature studies on fitness center standardization, identification of fitness center users and women's needs analysis in exercise. Based on the methodology, the concept obtained is a modern interior design by utilizing corporate Hawa Gym colors on the interior design elements. The modern design provides the user with a simple, clean and functional feel while utilizing corporate colors will embed corporate colors as a branding of Hawa Gym and form Hawa Gym as an icon of womens fitness center. The facilities are tailored to the tendency of women who work out in groups by providing more group sports classes. The shape processing utilizes many curved lines to give a soft impression on the design while maintaining the intensity in areas that require a high-intensity sporting atmosphere. With the concepts above, a planning concept is conceived of Hawa Gym Surabaya as a modern women's fitness center to create Hawa Gym as an icon of women's fitness center in Indonesia that suits and meets the needs of women.
